Stopped by for a quick lunch because the other restaurant that we were planning to go had closed. I guess this happened for a good reason 😀

They do offer a wide variety of options in the menu. The serving size is pretty big and we probably over ordered a bit but ended up wasting lots of the food.

If you are an olive person, the green ones are just amazing. Full of flavor and very tasty.
Ordered a veg sandwich and a pasta dish.
They also have beer and wines.

Overall a great lunch experience. Definitely to be tried if you live nearby nor are in the neighborhood.

We came to have a pizza before going to movies. This place was a great choice. I liked everything from the interior to the service and food.

The interior is very cozy, spacious and Italian: checked tablecloths, photos of Italian historic places, tiny Venetian balcony in the dining room. The place has plenty of tables, all of them were free when we were there. I appreciated that the tools plates and cups were real, not one-time plastic ones.

We ordered a large pizza and some olives, paid around 33 usd. The food arrived quite fast, the pizza was big, a lot of toppings, we managed to eat only half and asked for a box for the rest.
The pizza tasted great, olives as well.

The service was very friendly and helpful.

Overall, the place was great, I will come again.

The food is far, far better than the low-key seating area would indicate! The fettucini is just spectacular, and the mixed seafood dish it was served with was nicely seasoned and wonderfully tasty. Don't let the look of the room fool you!

I had a Great experience in this place that I never heard before I look up for an Italian restaurant around Mountain View. The pasta was so fresh and the sauce was delicious. Attached to the restaurant has a store where you can buy tons of delicious staff. Definitely I will come back and recommend it too.

Affordable and tasty, with good portions as well. I don’t always want to spend $50 on some ultra luxury Italian dishes, sometimes I crave for decent pasta; this place is perfect for that.

I don't eat wheat but there's still plenty to get at The Pasta Market. I usually go for a side of meatballs or sausage or both. Their salads are good too.

So underrated! Such delicious pasta and a cute little shop with other Italian. The meat ravioli is absolutely delightful, with real meat inside!! You can pick your own sauce and fresh pasta. The tiramisu and Caesar salad are also both above average and affordable. The seating is seat yourself and cute white table cloths. So much food I couldn’t finish it all. Good for families, local dates. They need more business it is so delicious

My sister's gluten intolerance goes perfectly with my gluten intolerance denial. When my sister came home with food from the Pasta Market, I was looking forward to doing my typical mooching. Unfortunately, she got gluten free spaghetti and wasn't in the sharing mood. I was only granted one bite of the spaghetti. Luckily, she didn't get any gluten free bread. She told me I could have the rest of the bread. The bread was magnificent. I could just eat it plain, but it didn't taste plain at all. I feel like bread is typically dependent on other foods. It usually needs butter, jam, cheese, olive oil, or is part of a sandwich. This bread was different though. It didn't need to lean on any other foods. It was a strong independent bread that was great by itself. That's the best kind of bread. A bread that doesn't need anything else, but itself. Other foods can join this bread to make it even better, but this bread ain't gonna rely on any other food. This bread knows it's self worth. Anyways, this place has one of the best breads I've ever tried.

The place was great! Very classic Italian food, no nonsense! The flavours are really delicious. May not be the most visually appealing, but the taste was definitely there!

We had the meat ravioli in spicy mushroom sauce, the meat lasagna, Caesar salad, garlic bread and tiramisu! Portions were large, each portion was plenty for 2! The tomato sauce is a big litmus test for me for Italian restaurants, and this tomato sauce was the perfect balance of sweet, tangy and savoury. Never had a spicy mushroom sauce before, but it was delicious. Very hearty, perfect amount of spice, mushrooms were perfectly cooked.

Everyone was very nice, service was quick. Will be coming back for sure!

The meatballs were large and tasty - a great value for the meatball sandwich. Both cashier and manager were gracious and quite helpful. Absolutely recommend!

Homey, unpretentious place with red-checked tablecloths. Order food at the counter and they will bring it to your table. A favorite for takeout and families dining out. Their breadsticks with cheese spread keep us coming back!

Lots of food for a great price!!! If you're looking for a casual Italian place this is it. Tortalini carbonara was a little salty but that's my only complaint. Dessert was great as well. 😁👍

It's a low-key place with great food and service. I took my kids to get some pasta here, and they loved the place as much as some of the more expensive places in South Bay. Will visit again for sure!

This is a small family-owned business which does a nice job of serving Italian food without being pretentious. The prices are a good value. If you are looking for formal table service then take a pass on this one because you order at the counter and they deliver your food to your table. The food is quite satisfactory and there is a large selection.

The Pasta Market is just incredible. For affordable, delicious, Italian style dishes and vibes in the Bay Area, this is where you want to be. The basil cream sauce is unmatched. I could write a love song to the breadsticks tho, those are truly incredible. We had the baked ziti which was good as well! I would definitely recommend getting the bagged lunch if you want a good deal!

I cannot provide words good enough to describe this place. I am from central California, and I had to be in this area to organize a soccer dinner for my daughter's team. I ordered 4 family meals (2 fettuccine alfredo, 1 meat sauce spaghetti, and 1 cheese tortellini) with salad and a mix of regular and garlic bread. When I got to the restaurant at my established time, it was packaged beautifully, and Ignacio helped me get it all to my car. The price was terrific, and the players LOVED it (the fettuccine and bread were GONE). The salad was so fresh, too!
I will definitely use this place again next time we're up in the south bay. Thank you, Ignacio, for taking my order and making us 20 happy customers.
