The River Des Peres Yacht Club Deli

Went here for a late lunch with a group of coworkers, one who had stumbled upon this place and raved about it. We were the only dine-in customers at the time. Loved the small, homey atmosphere and I could tell the staff were related, which added to the comfy vibe. Very laid back and friendly. Took about 25 minutes to get all of our sandwiches but Boy was it worth it!!! You could tell a lot of effort was put in to every detail of the sandwich, high quality ingredients, and HUGE portions! My half turkey club, toasted w/ provel was delicious was more than enough to fill me up. All my coworkers said there sandwiches were awesome too! We'll definitely be back! Oh and very reasonably priced, especially for what all you get!

They are closing the front for good, you didn't here it from me, but go thru the Bar entrance which is a cool dive bar type joint. They will be doing a smaller menu, but the Sandwiches have no equal in this area, I mean true Jersey Italian style!!!!!

We went there for take out. I got the Beach Sub and Italian Sub. It was good

I am located very close to this Restaurant, & it's one of my favorites in the area!
They have a decent little selection of food, and it always tastes great! Often, while it's warm or during the summer & sometimes during the fall, I've noticed that they will have customers outside, in the back part of the Restaurant, with little lights surrounding the back sitting area, and a fence around it, to keep you comfortable and more safe (the area isn't the best, but it's certainly not a bad area) & they always seem like they enjoy themselves a lot! For such a small location, they get a lot of service! Great customer service, and fairly fast when completing orders!

Wonder sandwich today. Steamboat Willie. Nice employees. Let me wait inside while my car was being repaired. Check it out. I'll be back.

I was looking for a Muffaletta and The River Des Peres Yacht Club came up. I called my order in ahead of time. The lady behind the counter was great! The sandwich was delicious and priced right, we will definitely return!

Have been there at least 10 times. Great food. Wonderful people people. All the staff very friendly. Family owned and good service. Desserts are all homemade. Sandwiches are not the run of the mill type you will find at sub shops and deli's. Soups and chili are home made too. Again great variety not found everywhere. Yes all of the service is on paper, plastic or
sty foam. China, glassware and silverware all cost money to wash and adds more staff, which add more cost. Everything is fresh. Nothing is
pre-make or purchased already made. Very causal. Great prices!

They make some of the most amazing sandwiches. But i'm hooked on their chicken strip salad which is not on the menu but they still make it for me because it used to be awesome Place go check them out people and they have a bar in the back and the pool table in the back room and a nice outside area to sit in

Best sandwiches in town! Friendly service clean restrooms n mouth watering choices! Just added bar in back that's serves ice cold beers! Family owned and operated! Must try steamboat willy! It makes my tummy so the happy dance!

My aunt and I went there yesterday. She got the 1/2 Steamboat Willie, and I got the 1/2 Turkey Club, and we both had salads. Excellent all around. Both were warm and flavorful, the salads (mine had house dressing - red wine vinegarette) were excellent. Quantity of food was more than adequate.The staff is friendly and causal, taking care of you like family. Excellent local sandwich shop!

I've tried almost everything they make, and let me tell you, it is all amazing. Hands down my favorite sandwich/deli shop in St. Louis...and I know my sandwiches. The ingredients are all top notch and fresh, the proprietors are very nice, the space is charming, the name is hilarious...I really love this place, and I actively recommend it to anyone who loves a superior sandwich. They really have a gift for making the items on their menu just that much better than anything than you're used to. Try them and see what I mean.

A little strange to walk into a sub shop & looks like preschool as well... BUT Service was friendly & pleased with quality & taste of food. I had the turkey club & a french dip half, all was very taste & fresh!

Without a doubt they are a sleeper. Some of the best sandwiches in Saint Louis. Reasonable prices too! Good ingredients. Pizza pasta and Roast beef river raft are my favorites. Club and beached sub not far behind. Still somewhat of a hidden secret in Saint Louis. Hill quality at a much better price.

Best sandwiches for the price ( best roast beef I have had) and they got a bar now too. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Neat artwork on the walls too if you like old nauticle type stuff.

It was absolutely breathtaking. It's a little on the expensive side but the sandwiches are big enough to have them with someone else. I would definitely recommend everyone to at least try it once!! You will not be disappointed

the roast beef is awwsome here and the bread was fantastic. we got the first bloody mary and it is outstanding. bar is cozy and friendly. the food is just excellent. a definite hidden gem in the patch. go get you some.

The myth of the River Des Peres Yact Club if brought to reality here. Located in the historical neighborhood of "the village" of Carondelet. Old buildings, people understand each other's roots & love this one in a kind area. Great food, nice comfy bar. It makes my heart skip knowing the history, the people and respect for hard working families here.

I absolutely love this place. Its a great place to go and just hang out, play pool, enjoy dinner, have a few drinks.. The employees are always so nice and friendly. It is honestly one of my favorite places to go with my husband and friends.
