Hugh and his entire crew were extremely professional and particular. He knows flooring and after sanding our white oak floors and refinishing them we were shocked at the transformation. He explained what we needed to do to prepare for the work and what his team would do. He even finished the project early. He kept us informed each step of the way. Would highly recommend for any wood flooring you may need.

Hugh, Andy and Christian were all great. Hugh runs a very tight ship and has high expectations. From our first conversation Hugh was upfront about the whole process and never dropped a beat with scheduling, communication or the final product. Andy and Christian were great as well. While I was at work during the day they made my wife feel comfortable with the job they were working on, and these guys put in the WORK. It's tough work refinishing floors, but the team at Mastercraft floors did great and did not disappoint. Highly recommended if your looking for someone to refinish your floors.

Mastercraft just finished our floors and did an outstanding job! Hugh is a great communicator, and his team of finishers gave extreme detail to refinishing our floor. Would highly recommend them to anyone. They get a little busy and may take several weeks to schedule your job, but they’re worth the wait. The attached picture does not give the job justice, it's absolutely gorgeous! And this was a prefinished floor that they had to take the factory finish off. We used Mastercraft Wood Flooring to re-finish and stain our hickory hardwoods. Hugh was easy to work with and a great communicator. His crew, Johnny and MJ, were excellent at what they do! They transformed our hardwoods from an orangey blonde to a beautiful dark, walnut. They even let us choose what color stain we’d like, and they worked with us to get a beautiful matte finish, too. We cannot say enough about Hugh - Andy and all their Crew. We had a remodel project where they had to incorporate new boards with the old where we removed a wall and kitchen island . We used a different flooring co two years prior and had very poor results . My husband and I know and worked in construction for over 40 years . These guys did it all right . They do not cut corners they take pride in what they do and it shows. We highly recommend them and we will continue to use them again in the future.

We bought a 1960s ranch house that came with original hardwood floors, but had suffered years of damage. During our renovations, we removed two walls, and wanted to add hardwood to the kitchen to replace the old laminate to give the house a more seamless look. Hugh and his crew were able to repair all of the old damage, seamlessly tie in new hardwood in the kitchen, and stain it to look like brand new flooring throughout. Multiple other flooring companies told us refinishing the original floors would be nearly impossible and that we should just rip them up and lay new LVP, but Mastercraft proved them wrong and restored our hardwood flawlessly. Our floors turned out amazingly beautiful! We are so pleased with the outstanding work that was done. Everyone was very professional and worked hard. They were prompt, courteous and explained the whole process to ensure we were comfortable before they began. They completed the project and cleaned everything completely before they left. Hugh and his staff did a wonderful job on our hardwood floors. He and his staff were able to match our old hardwood floor with new hardwood flooring. You would not be able to tell where the old flooring stopped and the new flooring began.

Hugh and his crew at Mastercraft Wood Flooring were professional and courteous. They replaced the tile and carpet in our basement with hardwood. Work started on time and completed on time. No surprises, no upcharges, no drama. Quality of the workmanship was excellent. (Having been a contractor, myself, I know excellent.) He replaced our upper level carpet with hardwood, tore out and replaced existing stairs and landing with hardwood, stained to match the new floor. The detail work was exceptional, from around the fireplace hearth, where the cuts were so tight it looked like they had been poured, to the base trim perfectly fitted, caulked and filled.

Hugh kept us informed every step of the way and educated us about the products and needed care. Worksite was cleaned every day and spotless at the end of the job. Two of my neighbors had the same painless experience using this company. I can wholeheartedly recommend Hugh and Mastercraft.
