Joined a couple months ago and want to express how much I look forward to coming. The coaches and knowledgeable and supportive, and the exercises are challenging but doable. I thank the strength training with helping me get past some weird nagging pains from being out of shape. And my kids call me “Hulk Daddy” now which feels great 💪

Looking at photos from an event early this year, I didn't recognize myself. I looked tired, sluggish and a lesser version of who I am on the inside.

I started to diet and lost 25 pounds. Then I realized that I need to build my strength and muscle. I joined Inner Strength Personal Training in late February and in that time, I've not only lost an additional 20 pounds, but I've built 8% more muscle, decreased my BMI and fat, lost inches all over my body and learned that IT IS POSSIBLE to be stronger and more fit, even if you're over 50! It's reset the way I think about what it means to be "healthy".

I reached out to Ryan at Inner Strength in November wanting to start a lifestyle change in the hopes of losing weight and having better mobility. I had tried many at home workouts and was always intimidated by a gym setting. I also tried to push off starting until after the New Year. Excuses have always been a crutch! Ryan encouraged me to start then and work through the holidays and I am sure glad he did!

Scheduling classes is so easy! You schedule on the app and choose the class that works with your schedule. It can even vary daily or week to week! Lots of time options as well.

Every time I am in class, the coaches remember all of our names and tailor each workout to each individual’s needs (I have a bad knee, so they modify exercises so there’s no stress or pain on the knee). How perfect is that?!? It is truly a welcoming place to be!

Even in the short time I have been going to classes, I have seen my energy levels improve and my clothes are fitting better!!

I am locked in and ready to keep working!

I found Inner Strength at the PERFECT time - after working downtown for 42 years, I became a work-from-home person during COVID. My physical activity was walking from my desk to the kitchen and sitting in a chair all day. My social life became non-existent! Since joining Inner Strength, I have lost 20 lbs, I am using muscles I didn't even know I had, I have become stronger and much more flexible and have formed some pretty awesome friendships with people my own age that understand the aging process and all that comes along with it! The IS Coaches are amazing and really show how much they care about each one of us individually on a daily basis. They challenge us to become better versions of ourselves and give us all the support and knowledge along the way. Inner Strength is a perfect fit for me!

I’ve been on my healthier me journey for about six months now but had a fear of big gyms. It’s very intimidating walking into that big box gym with tons of younger people in better shape than you running around. I wanted to add work outs to my life but didn’t know where to start. Then about a month ago i saw an ad for Inner Strength and it hit everything i was looking for in a gym. It’s geared more to women above 40 with small classes and no complicated machines. The coaches are absolutely amazing (Luke is the man!) and they push you while being mindful of your physical ailments. I was asked when i signed up what my goal was and as simple as it might sound, i wanted to be able to bend over and touch my toes. Last week for the first time in two decades i bent at the waist and touched my toes. Epic win thnx to Inner Strength!!

I wasn’t exactly sure what I expected when I stumbled upon Inner Strength. All I really knew was that I was in pain and exhausted all the time. I was told I needed to strengthen my core and move. I just didn’t know how acheive that. What I found was not only instruction and a place to workout but an awesome staff that provides simple concrete instruction that is continually modified for me and my fitness level. The people I workout with are a fun group as well. I started in October of last year and I’ve already lost inches and a few pounds. It’s so worth it because I’ve gained so much energy and strength, plus the confidence to keep going back.

I joined Inner Strength after noticing my neighbor’s svelte body within weeks of the last time I had seen her. After working out for about 6 weeks not only did I notice a change in my body visually but the strength I gained in my upper body, which had been weak my entire life, shocked me! For women this program is a must for our bone density!

Inner Strength was just what I was looking for and needed to re-start my fitness journey. The instructors are great - motivating and encouraging! The other members are all very friendly and welcoming! The variety in the workouts and class times keep me coming back! Even tho I’ve only been with Inner Strength a short time, I already feel more confident and stronger (mentally too). I Highly recommend Inner Strength!

I initially joined Inner Strength as part of their 8 week program in Nov. 2021. I’m still a member 18 months later. I LOVE the small groups, the weight training routines and the wonderful coaches. I go 3x/week and I feel so much better, both physically and mentally. I was having trouble with my shoulders and knees when I started at Inner Strength. I was fearful of doing certain exercises.The coaches supported me as I continuously progressed. Now I push myself to do more, because I can! Thank you Inner Strength!!!

I came to Inner Strength last August as a "last ditch" effort to get healthier. I joined for the 8 week intro class and seriously did not expect to continue fter the 6 weeks. I had a lot of "reasons" not to join: the gym was too far away; the only class that works was too early; I was too old for the exercises; it is too expensive; I would give up.
But something happened during that 1st 6 weeks; I really enjoyed it! (Yes, I am shocked also!) All the reasons to not stay dropped away. I enjoy my quiet 20 minute morning drive, the early class starts my day right, and I was not the oldest/most out of shape member! The trainers really work with me to make sure I understand how to do the exercises and modify them if needed. Trainers and members notice if I don't show up and offer encouragement when I need it.
And the cost? It is totally worth it! Since I have been working out, my fast food & alcohol budget has dropped significantly. My monthly budget has not been adversely affected and I feel better then ever!
I have been at Inner Strength for 9 months and over 100 classes. I have lost weight, lost inches and have more stamina than I did before. I also have new friends! (For the record, I am well into my 50's!)

Before joining Inner Strength I had no energy and really didn’t like the way I looked and felt. I’m coming up on my one year anniversary and Inner Strength is a game changer. Yes I’ve lost weight and yes I have muscles that are more toned than before, but most importantly I feel GOOD!! I have energy again and my whole attitude about exercise and how to incorporate what they teach me into my life has changed. The coaches are the best! And an added bonus is meeting some pretty special members. If you are in the fence, give Inner Strength a try—you will not be disappointed!

I came to Inner Strength because I was overweight & felt sluggish & weak. The staff was really supportive & helpful. During my time there I have learned a lot about muscles & nutrition. It’s been a real eye opener for me. I feel so much stronger. I’m eating much healthier and I am never hungry. Claire & Jess are extremely helpful & they are always encouraging. Inner Strength has been a great blessing for me. The employees along with the members are very welcoming. The employees and owners are very knowledgeable and their coaching is custom to each individual. I started going there to improve my health. My asthma issues have improved, strength and endurance has improved along with my eating habits. My knees and balance are also improving. I highly recommend inner strength for a health and mental improvement in your life.

When I started at Inner Strength, I was looking for relief from hip pain and chronic fatigue, and was very discouraged about my state of health and weight gain. I knew that I wanted and needed guidance, structure and accountability. Inner Strength has provided that to me, plus so much more! Recently I completed an initial 8-week program --- and am feeling so much stronger, happier, and confident in my body. I'm down a size in scrubs, I feel more compact and stable. I sleep like a baby. I no longer have to stretch out my back when taking my dog for a walk and have actually started to slowly incorporate jogging into my walking routine! I’m also lifting way heavier than I had ever imagined. Inner Strength has made such a difference in my health and my life. If you’re going back and forth about starting a program, just take that first step, that leap of faith, and invest in yourself!

I am so glad I accepted, and signed up for a six week challenge at InnerStrength Fitness. After the first six weeks, I was hooked and seeing results! Finding a gym which offered a program focused on helping women achieve optimum health and fitness in a small group atmosphere was just what I had been looking for. The coaches, and staff are so supportive, and are with you every step of the way to help you improve your health & fitness in a safe and supportive environment. And it is so nice having the support and friendship of the other members! Such a welcoming environment!

I have been going to IS for 6 months now. I felt like a lost cause, overweight and out of shape, partly due to having a desk job for 25 years. I now feel physically and mentally the best I have in many years. I now have hope and confidence. I am losing weight and gaining so much strength. I cannot say enough good things about the guys at IS. They are amazing and are there to help you succeed every step of the way. So happy that I stepped foot in your door. I’ve been coming here for about 5 weeks and I love it ! The small group classes are fantastic- you get to know everyone and the coaches get to know you. They are so knowledgeable and will correct your form if needed and advise you as to what weight to use to challenge yourself in a safe way to get the most out of your workouts. I’m so happy I found Inner Strength !!

Started at Inner Strength a little over a year ago wanting to get stronger and maintain flexibility and muscle. I had been to gyms before and hated them. IS is not a regular gym. All the coaches know you, the classes are small and they pay attention to your needs, and provide lots of instruction and encouragement. You feel part of a group, and laugh and struggle together. You have to start somewhere and inner strength surrounded by loving smiling people is the perfect place. Believe me it’s hard to pull yourself together but when your greeted with a smile and someone telling you not only that you can do it but that you can push yourself to be more than you were when you entered in to their care and instruction. You know that you’ve found your safe place to heal and grow.

What happens when your there is you don’t think about the real world and you concentrate on what you need to do to build your muscles and your strength in your body to be able to have a healthier life style, live longer, and be more fulfilled by doing simple exercises and lifting heavy weights.

The difference that inner strength has made in my life so far is that I am able to accomplish task in my every day life easier than I could before. I can once enjoy activities that I had given up on because of bad knees, ankles and feet. I’ve gotten back a little bit more of that confidence that I had let slip away. I am definitely going to continue my journey with inner strength until I’ve replaced all of my confidence, my longevity in life and I have that incredible smile that all of the trainers and nutritionist seem to possess at inner strength.

Ryan and his crew do a great job. The provide numerous options for clients of all age groups. The trainers are there to help you reach your goals. Since I've started back in December, I've seen my mobility increase, my back strength increase and my bicep size increase.

If you struggle to get to the gym a few times a week I'd highly recommend trying inner strength prior to giving up.
