Key City Diner

Tonight we decided to try out key city for the first time since they reopened. My son got the Nutella berries French toast, it was amazing!! I got the chicken penne vodka, which was also delicious. We started with an appetizer of mozzarella sticks which were super good.

When I looked at the menu, I got the prices wrong, so I originally expected a little cheaper, but it was my own mistake. The owner was kind enough to send home a chocolate cake.

We will definitely be returning and it will now be our breakfast spot for birthdays :)

Staff was super friendly, and the food was great. I got the Salmon salad, it was so good and plenty of food (I even had leftovers to take home). My daughter got corned beef and hash. It came with eggs and home fries, and she also had leftovers to take home. Overall we were happy with our experience.

It was a busy Sunday, but I was impressed they kept us waiting for only 10 mins. The food came out fast and it was very good. The cornbeef hash was delicious. You must try the Nutella covered strawberry French toast.

I visited this lovely diner after church with my family .Within 5 minutes, the waitress to our order. My 2 eggs over easy were cooked to perfection, the bacon a tad overcooked. Well done bacon is my preference was bordering on burnt. Which can be resolved because I ate them anyway. I mention it only because everyone

Cooked on the inside. Let's talk coffee, I enjoy a mildly roasted cup of coffee. This place fits the criteria. I can't recall the last
time I visited a restaurant/dinner, which appreciated a great cup of coffee. Pancakes, toast, and English muffins all nicely buttered..The waitress was attentive and professional..I will be back .

The food was delicious, staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is super pleasant. I can’t wait to come back!!

Food and service were outstanding! Will definitely return. Lucy (server) was great. She apologized for taking so long to take our order, but in reality, she timed it perfectly! We had just decided what we wanted and 2 seconds later, she was there. Atmosphere was ok except for the rude person next to me watching something on their phone at full volume. Please stop allowing this.

I used to visit this diner often before the fire. Decided to grab dinner once they re-opened and I'll be making this my go to diner in the area. The food is delicious and the portions are big for an affordable price. The French fries are still as good as they were when I was in high school. The staff is friendly and professional. And the remodel looks great.

Really good experience all around. Food was very good. Nicely updated interior is really clean. Waitress (Francesca) was really friendly and attentive. Reasonably priced. We’ll be back for sure!

We tried the new Key City Diner today, food and staff were amazing. Our waiter, Jack, was personable and very attentive. The restaurant was adaptable to our dietary needs. We will definitely be returning soon.

Wow! No lie... best fries I've ever had. I like lots of flavor, so when my Ceasar wrap came dripping sauce, I was in heaven. What a friendly and accommodating staff. From the owner to the hostess to the waitress. They were all so kind. They went out of their way to fix things that weren't quite right with speed and no visible annoyance. Not the best place for meet ups. We did our book club there. There are 7 in our group and it was extremely loud. Not easy to hear each other talk. But if you're not holding important conversations, nothing wrong with the place. Highly recommend.

This is a great American diner experience! Loved the place, loved the food.

First, thank you, Breanna. You are a “keeper” with all of the right qualities for making people feel special and comfortable during their time at the Key City Diner (and, no, Breanna is not a friend or relative). The food was good. My wife enjoyed the grilled cheese sandwich. My daughter really liked the hamburger and the fries received three “yes’” votes. My open turkey sandwich could have been served hotter and I would appreciate the option to have brown, instead of white, gravy on top. My salad was fresh and had a nice presentation and the soup was hot, tasty, and filling. The manager came to the table to check on us. Nice touch… Note that business was a bit slow in the diner during our visit. I witnessed multiple staff with spray bottles and towels doing cleaning duty for surfaces that multiple people touch. The diner has had a recent facelift. It looks awesome. We will be back. Recommended…

We were there tonight, and it hit all the high marks for food, service, and atmosphere. The amount of food was awesome. I couldn't finish the Key City Special! We are so glad they rebuilt after the fire. Way to go, KCD!!!

Food very good, lunch special’s reasonably priced, soups very good as well, but the best part of our lunch experience was our server VALERIE! Best Server anywhere, she checked on us frequently and suggested the cheesecake for dessert! OMG, best we ever had! Huge piece, super creamy, took half home! I never tip more than 20% at a Diner, but was glad to up the ante to 35% for Valerie! AMAZING SERVER! Kudos to Key City for hiring such a SUPER STAR!

We liked this place a lot even before the fire, and I'm our opinion the quality is just the same. We both loved our food and prices are reasonable. I already wanna go back.

Food was awesome. Service was great. I got an eggs benedict over a crabcake on rye bread. It was bold to try a crabcake at a diner, I'm sure, but it was fantastic! Would order again, 10/10.

Celebrated my birthday here. The food was cooked to perfection and our waitress Cat was courteous and attentive. So glad they are back in business.
