A nice monument to General Hazen who was one of the co-sponsors of building this 1700’s military road. You almost miss seeing it as there are no signs pointing to it. It’s just, there…A few miles north is the memorial marker where two Continental army scouts were killed by Indians back during that era. That marker is also on the right side of road if you’re driving north.
