Amazing breakfast at an incredible bakery. We had the pleasure of trying several pastries from this bakery at the Waitsfield Farmers Market on Saturday and had to visit their retail location before heading back home to NJ this morning.

It was well worth the 1 hour drive in the opposite direction. 😄 Breakfast was delicious and the service was fabulous.

We had to grab some goodies to go on the way out for the 7.5 hour drive home.

Such an amazing spot! We went here 3 times in 3 days. It’s rare to have a great bakery that is also a great restaurant. The breakfast and lunch sandwiches are delicious. And I struggled to just get two pastries instead of 10 😄 The caramel apple danish is heaven!!

If they ever want to open another location in Beverly, MA, they’d have a loyal customer in me!

This is where the best restaurants around get their bread. The best burgers and sandwiches in Stowe and lamoille County in general; are served on "Two Son's" rolls. You can get it straight from the source in Hyde Park and try their take on local staples like the steak and cheese or their chicken sandwich (10 out of 10). They also have the local beers you're probably looking for. 10 bends, Big Tree, Lawson's....

Plenty of street parking on the main drag. Staff was accommodating especially for a large group which included young children. Food was all delicious and their desserts are fantastic. All in all I would go here above others in the area. Cheers!!

Cute little bakery. Stopped there twice on a recent ski trip to Vermont. Their 'Morning Bun' was quite possibly the best pastry I've ever had. We decided to stop again, this time for breakfast on our way home. Breakfast was great, as I expected, and the baking we picked up for the ride was amazing. Hoping to make it a standard part of our trips to Vermont.

Great place for good meals, friendly staff, amazing pastries. The portion was big and a fair price. All that I expect from a local place, simple food really well made and full of flavour.

Great lunch and dinner spot close to the Hyde Park Opera house. Strong beer list, great calzone. Delicious ham sandwich. Amazing looking baked goods (we didn’t have time to try them)

This is quite literally the best bakery around - they rotate pastries, their bagels and breads are always incredible, and folks are always friendly. I frequent this place a few times a week, rave to everyone that they need to come here, and am more enticed to pick a dish on a local restaurant menu if it has "Two Sons Bakehouse" on it. Saying alll that, for the last few months I've gotten pastries here that are over-baked on the outside - which is such a bummer! The beautiful flakey butter crust just isn't there - that crust is often dull and dark. All of which is such a massive shame! Combos of flavors are on point, the dough is definitely on point (moist on the inside, fillings are really flavorful), but often times the outside of the pastry is overcooked - it has that bitter taste, while the texture on the inside is doughy instead of flakey. I frequent this bakery throughout the week - sometimes just after they open at 6, other times later, between 8-10am+, and this is still a problem, so it appears to be not related to time-of-day. I.e. If these folks are reheating day-old pastries then that could definitely explain what's going on, but I'm honestly not sure if it is that simple (and I'm not going to pretend I have the answer). In the end, I still give this bakehouse 5 stars, knowing that when it *does* produce high-quality and properly chilled and well-timed pastry, it reminds me of breakfasts in Southern France - there's literally nothing better. I keep coming back hoping that "today is the day"!

Delicious soup and sandwich options, and a nice atmosphere. Big windows looking out onto the pretty main-street. Great baked goods too.

Two Sons Bakehouse has become our go-to brunch place on Saturday or Sunday mornings. The Eggs Benedict is always a delight and my partner loves a sandwich of onion bagel, cheese and sausage. Each week we go home with a new bakery sweet to try and a loaf of sourdough bread. We like the open,roomy atmosphere and the very clean bathrooms impress.

This is a great spot in our sweet community. It is nice to have a local place to enjoy local, fresh, delicious food. I am GF and can always find something on the menu even though they are first a bakery. Sometimes they even have flourless chocolate torte. Yum!

Wonderful spot for breakfast. Corner beef hash was delicious. Great coffee. I’ll be back.

We had such a wonderful experience here we came back twice in one weekend! The food was stellar, both breakfast and brunch, and the bakery items were all delicious. The service was also outstanding, especially by Morgan who made our experience so much fun. Highly recommend if you're in the Stow area and want a heightened, savory cafe experience.
