Tera is absolutely amazing. The talent, professionalism, spunk this gal has. I’d never leave her. Relocating to the area, I needed someone closer to home and my god she made me feel right at home. She listened to my wants and needs. And delivered beyond words can explain. Big, bold and beautiful is how I feel leaving every single time. And the tips and tricks she also gives each time is so rad. If you need someone to fulfill your lash obsession like me this is your gal.

Fancy Faces is located right in downtown Placerville which makes it super convenient, it’s just a short walk from the parking garage. Everything is always so neatly organized and clean. They are simply the best!

Tera is awesome and a total sweetheart! I have dealt with trichotillomania since I was a child and so haven’t had lashes or brows in about 30 years. I’ve finally been able to grow them out and Tera has been so supportive and kind. She gave me a lift and tint today and I can’t believe how my lashes pop now! It’s so cool! Thank you, Tera!

Oh my gosh where do I begin! I was able to hire fancy faces by Tera to do makeup for my entire bridal party and she did and exceptional job! She went above and beyond to make sure each bride looked gorgeous for my special day. Tera is professional, kind, warm and efficient. Everything I asked for she executed and I couldn't have picked a better person to assist me and be with me on my special day! Make sure to book her for your future wedding!

Tera did my makeup for a wedding and when I tell you I’ve never felt better…. I mean it!! My make up was FLAWLESS and literally lasted the entire day (applied at 11am and was on well past midnight). It wasn’t cakey or heavy feeling at all. I have no idea what kind of magic she has up her sleeve but WOW!! I cannot recommend her enough! I would absolutely recommend her for any special event you have coming up and want to feel like a million bucks!

By far the best facial i have ever gotten. Tera was so helpful and sweet. She answered all my questions and taught me new things to help my skin. I woke up this morning and still notice a huge difference in my skin. I got the pamper session and the cupping and lymphatic drainage was AMAZING. I will continue to go back and hope to continue facials regularly as well as try additional services.

Tera is great. She does a great job with my lashes and works with me to find the style I like. Her set-up is sooo comfortable, heated, memory foam "bed" is fantastic!

She is truly amazing at what she does. I'm prepping my skin before my wedding which is in 5 months and needed her help with where to begin. From the start, the communication was on point and the service is truly top notch! She's extremely personable which made me feel comfortable right away, her rooms are clean and tidy and the recommendations she gave me were so helpful. I've already booked my second facial with her for next month and cannot wait to go back. My skin feels soooo incredibly hydrated and soft. I highly recommend Tera to anyone looking to take care of their skin and/ or pamper themselves! :)

I've been to see Tera several times and I'm so happy to have found her! She rescued my brows with an incredible reshape at my first visit and has been maintaining them since. I don't think I've ever had a better shape! I also have had a lash lift and it's a real game-changer. The process was simple, painless, and has great results. My eyes look more open and it really enhances your eyes even when not wearing makeup.

Fancy Faces has a great spot in the rear of a historic building in the heart of Placerville and the salon space is welcoming. It's super easy to park in the garage next door as well. I also love that booking is incredibly easy online.

Tera is AMAZING! I truly love the unique and professional services she offers. I've been getting treatments from her when she had a smaller studio and my face has never been the same. From waxing, to microdermabrasions, to regular facials (or fancier ones!) she does it all, and she does it all with the best attitude. Tera truly cares for each and every single client and creates a bond with each one. She will check in with your comfort level during every service, and she will make sure you are in pure relaxation. She is quick and phenomenal at lash extensions (her specialty!) and the retention rate for how long they last is literally better than anywhere I've gone in the past.

I got an amazing facial. My face feels so much more moisturized. I was feeling like my skin was tired. I was able to get a custom approach and target my skin needs. My eyebrows were shaped and waxed and although I suggested cornrows for my lip hair - Tera suggested that waxing was a better idea. She was right. I felt so incredibly pampered. Definitely a 5 star experience. I rebooked an appointment for myself and an appointment for my son who she has been successful treating for acne.
