Quality Pools of Placerville

Did an amazing job which seemed to be impossible. I was new to Pool ownership and after last summer I was toast. During the winter the pool wasn't winterized so it was disgusting come this summer. It had leaks, pump damages, etc. But in no time and no hesitation, Rena was calm, and informative and handled it. Now its good as new and I learned alot to since she was explaining everything as she was working on the pool. 5/5 recommend to people, will be calling back soon to winterize.

Rena has taken care of my pool since she went into business. The pool is 45 years old and with Rena's care and hard work, the pool is like new. I couldn't ask for better work from anyone.

We have been with Rena for almost 2 years and are extremely satisfied and would recommend them to anyone who is seeking reasonable and dependable pool service. We recently had an ongoing issue with our pump not working, in less than 24 hours, Rena went 'above and beyond' coming out to our home, troubleshooted and resolved the issue! We have lived in our home for 15 years and this is the best pool service we have ever had!

I came across Rena of Quality Pools after being disappointed by two different pool cleaning companies. The first was a no-show and the second never spent more than 10-15 minutes on my pool. I knew right away that Rena would work out much better. She is always very thorough with her cleanings. She often will spend up to an hour on my pool if needed. She also does a great job of notifying me of equipment issues. I've had some leaks and other issues with older equipment and she is quick to let me know the issues and my options. Highly recommended!

Agree with Buffy T. We did business with Rena for two years. The first couple of months she did a good job. After that, every week was showing up on different days or no shows, promises, and apologies. We were very kind to her and gave many chances and at the end she flat out ghosted us. We have moved on. For what it's worth, I never give my real name for obvious reasons but I was a real customer.

Rena made us feel like she did not value us as a customer. Always pushing us off to other days and letting us know at the last minute she wasn't going to show up. Was very disappointed that she couldn't show up on a consistent basis.

She failed to keep our pool from growing algea on the steps, didn't brush the sides, and basically only cleaned the filters with the hose while she was here. She only showed up on the weekday we had planned for twice, the rest of the time there was some excuse as to why she had to reschedule us for another day. Half the time she wouldn't even show up on THAT day. When I had another pool service out to check the balance in my pool, they told me there was 0 chlorine in it.

Edit: Rena responded because she didn't recognize the name of my Google account but my name is Eleanor. Hopefully this review can inspire some change and stop someone else from hiring her because it has been a nightmare and my pool looks awful.
