Paris Bistrot

We have walked by this restaurant several times, and finally decided to have lunch here. We had travelled to France in the past and love French cuisine. We are so glad we stopped by! The owner, Mr. Jean-Christophe is French and a very nice gentleman. Our server was Jennifer, who was just outstanding. The food, Champagne, dessert and service were all impeccable! We will definitely be back, as this restaurant, the food and atmosphere brought us back to Paris!

Really glad I tried this place. Everything from the service to the food was great. The escargot were delicious. Pork Parmesan was different but in a good way.

This is a one of a kind place in Sarasota. Very special wine selection and delicious french food. We have been coming here for years for a special evening out. The crepes are the best in Sarasota. Everything on the menu is outstanding. If you have little time sit at the small bar and enjoy a quick glass of wine and a crepes dessert

We've been wanting to try here for a long time!
We made reservations for 7:30 last night. We were greeted by a charming French man :) this made the night very sweet to hear a French accent. The atmosphere was lovely and not loud.

We are vegetarian and so I knew before we went that our choice would be Quiche or risotto. We went for the risotto and it was outstanding! The fresh baguette that came with it was literally melt in your mouth bread!

My only slightly negative was that the sangria didn't taste like sangria and tasted weak.
We can't wait to go back for crepes! We were so full from dinner that we couldn't fit dessert in!

I am visiting the area and came here for dinner with my relatives who are regulars. It had the same atmosphere as a restaurant in Paris, with staff who were just as friendly. I am not much of a meat eater but I ordered the Pork Parmesan upon recommendation and my god was it delicious. The food tasted just as good as Parisian food. I hardly finish full servings at restaurants and here I did. We also ordered a desert which was pretty good: something simple and sweet to satiate your palette. I don’t remember what it was called, but it is a crepe with ice cream inside. The owner even let me go back and see the griddle they used for crepes when we inquired. Overall great experience, and outs other dining experiences to shame. Eating out will never be the same after this!

Amazing atmosphere, delicious food, and impeccable service! I've eaten here multiple times and everything is always tasty. Friday we dined with a large party and had a young girl serve us, she was phenomenal, wonderful recommendations for our friends that hadn't been there that were visiting from France. I'm always a sucker for French onion soup, several people in our party also enjoyed the fish soup. We enjoyed ordering off the chef's menu which allows you an appetizer and a dessert at at set price and many options. Save room for dessert!

Authentic Classic French cuisine. If you have been to Paris or would like to go, here is a perfect french experience right in your backyard.

Lovely restaurant with wonderful character. Staff very attentive. Menu is extensive with all your French favorites. My French Onion soup was the best I've ever had with layers of cheese in the broth. My Pork Parmesan was flavourful, creamy and simply divine. We were too full for dessert so will be back for crepes.

Sat at the bar. Great wine recommendations! Wonderful Pinot Noir. Hands down the best risotto I have ever eaten! This place is perfect.

This is a very authentic feeling bistro with traditional bistro fare for lunch. I only gave the food 4 stars because I think they can add a bit more creativity to some of there dishes. They also might be able to expand their dinner menu a bit. You will certainly not be disappointed I just think they need to challenge themselves more.

I’m a French culinary trained chef and haven’t working in a kitchen for many years. Found this gem close to my neighborhood and it was great. Family owned and operated, the chef today was the owner, perhaps I was lucky. But I will recommend this place to anyone that loves food done right.

Our second time there, We loved it. Excellent food, great atmosphere and great service, a great recipe for a great dining experience. Save us a table, we re coming back:)

We usually go to The Paris Bistro for brunch on Sundays with my sister and brother in law. . It’s been a month as we were in NY for the holidays. Back today and it did not disappoint. The service was superb as was the food. We had a couple of mimosas, caught-up while we ate, and were not rushed. It was so relaxing and wonderful to be back at the Bistro on Sunday Morning. Thanks everyone at Paris for a fantastic time.

9/11/2024. Decided on a whim to stop for an early dinner at the Paris Bistro. I chose the pork medallions in a light brown sauce with bacon, onions and pickle! Absolutely fantastic! Full of flavor and the pork was melt in your mouth perfect. The green beans and scalloped potatoes were perfect compliments to the entree. We finished off our meal by sharing a crème brûlée and a chocolate mousse. Phenomenal! This restaurant on Main Street in Lakewood Ranch is a treasure.

We eat at Paris Bistrot regularly and consider it a hidden gem in the Lakewood Ranch community. The food never disappoints and a great value. Wine list, especially the champagne selections, are exceptional.

Came here craving dessert crepes and tea. By the time I sat down I was a little hungry due to the wait for a table. It was well worth the wait - the servers were all nice and helpful. The ambiance inside is nice and quaint. Outside seating was full which is why we waited (highly recommend making reservations, especially on weekends). Easily became on of my favorite places to dine. They also have a very interesting crepe menu!

Great service. Wonderful food and wines. It was worth the long wait for our food. We relaxed. Definitely coming back!

Paris Bistrot is a staple for me. The service and the food never disappoint and it's such a treat to get authentic French fare so locally.

A wonderful Mother’s Day breakfast/ Brunch experience today. Choices, wide and varied. Service excellent and most importantly, the food delicious. A timely reminder to us .. ‘ go more often ‘ !

Paris Bistrot offers genuinely authentic French cuisine, and we have enjoyed visiting several times already. It always feels very relaxed, the staff is very prompt and friendly, and we just love the food! This is fast becoming our favorite restaurant.
