Excellent work on my Sig P226. I found a used police trade in that had holster wear and scratches all over it. Sent it in for an optic cut and a Cerakote job. All I can say is excellent quality of work and a fast turnaround time. Most importantly they have excellent customer service TOP NOTCH!!!

Ordered a custom slide and barrel combo for my Glock 19 frame from these guys and have been extremely pleased with it.

I asked for Midnight Bronze Cerakote and they made it happen. I asked multiple questions before ordering and they answered happily and with detail. I asked for a flat shooting ported barrel and slide combo and must say they delivered! Excellent aesthetics as well as function.

Thank you SWP!

SWPA cut a slide for my Sig P-220 pistol recently and the millwork was outstanding. Very clean work, excellent refinishing as well. Once the RMR was mounted up, it appeared as clean as any factory offering. Well done and at a very competitive price too.

This company's work is top-notch; they ported and added the SMSc optic cut to my S&W M&P Shield Plus slide. I highly recommend

2 cuts done by this company, and TWICE I've been over the MOON impressed with the absolute quality I received. Whether it's barrel port matching with nitride finish, or optic cuts with Cerakote finish, this place DELIVERS. I will continue only going here for all my pew pew needs. Can't say enough good things about this place 😁

I had my 43 barrel custom ported to fit my Norsso Reptile slide. Brent handled my order and all of my questions were answered. It made ordering a pleasure. They had it done fairly quick and I was back in action. It ran flawlessly ! Perfect amount of muzzle flip reduction while maintaining a high velocity. Great work guys, keep it up!

TLDR:
More or less accurate turn around time quotes.

Great customer service. If you have questions they will do their best to address them on the phone or in person.

Consistent and beautiful cerakote application. No high or low spots, everything looks super smooth.

Very precise fit on slide cuts. Optics fit snugly into the cuts and have very little play when compared to stock cut slides (I'm looking at you p365).

You may notice some of the sights in my images don't cowitness (509T) this was my choice. They offer a 509t specific cut however I opted for the RMR cut to give me more options should I need them in the future.

I've taken several slides here. Turn around times are mostly accurate. Be aware that they are in high demand and they will be upfront with longer turn around times if and when that occurs. Another thing to note. If you're getting your slide cerakoted you must understand the limitations of that product. It's great for corrosion resistance, but abrasion, impact, or both will do a number on it like they will on any other coating. I've uploaded some pics of slides I've had worked on any scratches, dings, and wear on the exterior of the slide are my doing. On the interior...well that's the mechanics of the firearms doing. I've noticed that the rail channels all look good still. I try to rotate these slides/pistols through my daily carry and shoot them regularly at the range. Granted it's a modest amount. I've also uploaded some sig slides in which I used a brass punch to drive the front site through and one in which I used a tool. As expected the ones I mangled where the ones I used the punch on.

**I can't stress enough that this isn't the applicator's fault this is mine.**

I could have used a few nylon punches and hand fitted the sights (both recommended practices), but I chose not to. I wanted to see what would be required to get something similar to what another posted stated as a problem. Use the right tools (sight pusher/nylon punches) and procedures (hand fitting might be required) and your finish won't get messed up like mine.

It's hard to see in some of the images but there is some holster wear and that's also expected. I practice dry fire draws a lot.

Put a Glock 21 in for the full treatment. Custom slide cuts, optic cut, barrel and slide porting, custom cerakote on slide and lower, trigger guard undercut along with grip reduction and grip texturing.

Pros:
Brent does superior level work on all aspects of the customization. He is definitely a master craftsman that takes his trade seriously. Quality of work is second to none whether it be slide cuts, cerakote or grip work. Grip texturing, no matter what type, is done by hand but is so precisely and cleanly applied you’d swear it was done by some type of machine.

Cons:
lengthy turnaround, however, in all fairness I was warned in advance that it could take several months for the job, and I did ask for pretty much everything that could be done in the realm of gun customization to be done.

SWP, at present, is essentially a one man operation. The upside is that every job in the pipeline will get Brent’s personal attention, the downside of course is slower turnarounds.

In my opinion, the high quality of work exceeds any downside related to turnaround times.

I'm writing this review the same day I dropped off my firearm for a muzzle brake installation and picked it up the same day with a beautifully installed muzzle brake. Thank you, Southwest Precision Arms, LLC, for taking care of my needs with your warm greetings and professional service.

Outstanding work! This is probably the best slide milling company in the state. They did the slide milling for the DDP, cerakote the slide, and the suppressor height sights. Took a little over two weeks, but that was primarily because they had to order the sights so not worries. I would go here again and recommend to anyone. Thanks guys!

Sent a slide to be cut for an optic and a three color dark camo cerakote. They did an exceptional job. The optic fit perfectly and the cerakote finish is awesome. Thanks

They did absolutely awesome work to cut Holosun 507k x2 red dot into VP9 handgun. The sight is low profile, and installed so the default iron sights co-witness the red dot.

Rarely am I motivated/interested in providing an online review, but my experience with Southwest Precision Arms was exceptional which in turn motivated me to share my experience.

I recently purchased a G11 S2 custom slide. Anyone who's into building, or modifying guns understands that the industry as a whole is experiencing long delays... Having said that, I can tell you that the custom slide that I ordered from Brent at Southwest Precision Arms was well worth the wait!! On a scale from 1 to 5 my experience was a 10.

While I was anxiously waiting to receive my slide, I can honestly say that any questions I had were responded to and answered in a timely manner. Brent did an amazing job keeping me updated. He also went out of his way answering any and all questions that I had about their product line and the options I was contemplating/selecting.

While it's true they have an amazing line of slides, if you take a hard look at the G11 S1, or S2 custom slides, you will see that they're truly one of a kind and a work of art... Having put hands on it, I can tell you it is of the highest quality.

If you're looking exceptional slide work of the highest quality, I highly recommend exploring options and consider purchasing from Southwest Precision Arm's.... You won't be disappointed!!!
