I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Bang. He is always attentive and compassionate.

He takes the time to listen to all our concerns and answer every question thoroughly, never making us feel rushed or overlooked. It’s evident that he genuinely cares about his patients and their families, going above and beyond to ensure that our child's needs are met. Whether it’s a routine check-up or a more complex issue, he approaches every situation with expertise and a warm, reassuring attitude.

Dr. Bang's dedication to his patients' well-being is unmatched, and we are incredibly grateful to have him as our pediatrician. He works and makes calls after hours and on his weekends to check or to updates any news regarding your child. I highly recommend Dr. Bang to any parent looking for exceptional care and a compassionate, attentive medical professional.

I’ve used Dr Bang with my three grown kids, so almost 24 yrs. I have two younger kids now, and we love Dr Bang. If your kid is really sick, he will call you personally and check on them. The youngest just got on behavioral medicaltions, and we finally got the right dose! Our lives have been changed by the persistence of Dr Bang. Dr Bang is fabulous with kids and even the youngest one loves Dr Bang (he doesn’t like anyone)! There are times you have to wait a little longer, but I appreciate the wait when I can get an appointment same day if the kids are sick and not have to go to the ER. He leaves no stone unturned when trying to treat my family. Referrals and appointments are always very quick to get made. The staff is lovely and helpful. For a small town we are blessed to have Dr Bang as our Pediatrician.

Dr. Bang is very professional! I have 4 children! The one thing I truly respect Dr. Bang for is that if you have a sick child, he will see you the same day! You don’t have to wait until there is an open appointment! You will be a work in, but at least your needs for your sick child are met! It is so comforting to know that your sick child will be seen the same day and for that I am grateful! I can’t tell you how many times he has called throughout the years just to check on them when they have been sick! He is a great physician and we are truly blessed to have him in Covington County!

Dr. Bang and his office are absolutely amazing. Yes, wait time can be long. But he is also the only pediatrician in Covington county that does rounds at the hospital to check on patients before heading into the office. He also takes time in office with his patients. If he didn't take time with my son we would be still trying to figure out the issue. Thankful for Dr. Bang and sending us to Children's Hospital in Birmingham for further treatment and testing.

Dr. Bang is the best pediatrician! Always get appts in the same day. No matter what the case is or how late in the day it is. Our children are very well taken care of. We love Dr. Bang and his staff! They love and care for our children extremely.
What other Dr. gives their personal phone number out and say you are welcome to call no matter what day or time is may be?
Dr. is on call 24/7. He cares for all his patients. Dr. Bang takes thorough time with each and every patient which is very professional. My wife works in an Alabama dr. office and patient’s have to have follow up appointments for their medications per state law. You can’t just call in medications if patient is not seen, same as an insurance referral.
Best pediatrician by far!! Definitely and highly recommend to anyone!!

Dr. Bang has literally saved my child’s life. Most all of the negative reviews are about waiting times. True, no one wants to waste time waiting BUT I don’t see/hear any complaints about Dr. Bang giving their child his/her undivided attention and accepting an appointment when you have a dire need. So thankful for Dr. Bang and his nursing staff.

Dr Bang and his staff are very understanding and caring. I have two sons that have Sickle Cell Disease and they have always given us the best care since they both received their diagnosis. Although he doesn’t diagnose sickle disease as soon as the state notified him he contacted us and has been giving adequate care to my children since

I absolutely love Dr Bang.. He pays close attention to what you are telling him and makes you feel like you are the most important person in the office while he's with you. He takes his time to explain treatment and makes sure you understand before he leaves the room. I love how he comes into the room playing with my daughter and makes her feel special. She loves him also and even looks for reasons why she needs to go see him.. He calls (not his nurse, HE calls) to check on her and to ask how she's doing on her ADHD medicine changes.. I've never had such a great experiences with a doctor before in my entire life (if he keeps this up, he's gonna become family and I'll have to add PawPaw Dr Bang to our Christmas Card list 🤣) but on a serious note: I am so honored to call him my daughter's doctor. I drive for a little over an hour from my house to see him, He cares about my child, and it shows!! He truly is the best!!

We have been using Dr Bangs and his wonderful staff since 2011. I can't say enough good and about him. He is truly the most caring and compassionate Dr. He listens and cares about your concerns. I like that I can call him when we have emergencys and he is always right there. He knows us by name when we meet him in public. He Truly is the best. !

Outstanding pediatrician always so good with my twins he’s been there since day one at there birth, never have a problem getting an appointment same day as I call, the nurses are amazing and so sweet, always get them the medicine and care needed such a wonderful place and doctor definitely the best decision I’ve made for my children’s doctor ☺

Amazing pediatrician all around!! Both of our kids go to him and he has always made to sure to take our concerns seriously especially with our son who come to find out had pyloric stenosis which we would have never known without him!

Dr. Bang is an awesome doctor who I use for my 3 younger sons. He literally saved the life of my 7 year old this week. He has also been amazing with my Autistic son and has helped us get the services we need to improve his life and mine. I'm very thankful to have him looking out for my kids. We drive 45 minutes one way to get to his office because it is worth it. Definitely recommend!

Dr. Bang has been my child's physician since he was born. He is now 17. He is an excellent doctor and has always been available whenever you need him, no matter the time of day. I have always recommended him and will continue to do so. He is very attentive to your child and really cares about what is best for them.

Staff is more accommodating and accepting than any type of doctors office I’ve been to. Dr Bang, I trust with my life.
