Wicked Awesome Ice Cream Emporium

My other has been wanting to try this ice cream place out since it is fairly new. So we went the other day, Saturday late afternoon. I got one scoop in a cup and tried the banana pudding flavor. He tried the chocolate chip mint and the key lime together since he got two scoops in a cup. They are also nice to let you try any flavor for sample. My banana pudding was a generous serving for just one scoop, so come hungry. Also, at checkout, they asked if you wanted to be signed up for the rewards card, so of course, I had to sign up. They have plenty of seating and even two big benches outside to sit. Everything looks fresh and ready to serve all. If you love ice cream, this is the place to go.

Great ice cream. Very generous with their scoop sizes for the most part depending on who is scooping your order. Glad we found this place. The cookie dough flavor is hands down amazing. And the waffle cones are like no other they are fabulous. I just wish there were regular size chairs to sit in there.

Staff was friendly and ice cream was delicious. We ordered a double scoop cookie dough waffle cone and a coconut almond fudge (non dairy) waffle cone.

Great place. Very clean. Plenty of parking. Plenty of indoor seating. Large selection of choices to make. The scoops are large. Ice cream was very good. The flavors was very robust and good. Will be going back again.

Super cute shop. My husband and myself were so excited when they opened within walking distance. We visit probably monthly at least. My husband loves to get a brownie sundae and I typically just get a single scoop on a sugar cone. The brownies are AMAZING but do sell out sometimes (probably because they’re amazing). There are tons of flavors to choose from. The shop typically has younger people working the counter and they do a great job working together and communicating with customers, which seems to be rare these days. I can say that I have been the last scoop out of the barrel and it’s just as fresh as when I’m the first scoop from the top. They run a good reward system tracked by phone number so I do recommend joining if you’re in the area. Overall, a great addition to the neighborhood.

My daughter and I love this place and have been many times. The staff is always friendly, the shop is always clean, and the ice cream is delicious. I especially like the Boston Tea Party flavor, and my daughter is partial to the cotton candy in a waffle cone. The portions are generous. It’s our go-to ice cream shop when we’re craving a treat.

Excellent service! Wicked awesome ice cream!!! I had blueberry pie ice cream. Tasted just like blueberry pie. Huge scoops for under $5! I love ice cream, and this was top notch! Highly recommend!

Nice little place with a large selection of Ice cream. Waffle cones are great and Ice cream is just as good. The cookie doe is my personal favorite. My wife's is Boston Tea party and is a must try!

Went there with my daughter after a hot day of soccer and it was a perfect refreshing treat,got the cookie monstah with waffle cone and it was absolutely delicious and the cone had a cinnamon taste which was great as well. The atmosphere was enjoyable and the young kids that served me with nice. I will be going back.

Wicked awesome is correct. SCOTT goes above and beyond to give you a pleasant experience and delicious ice cream. Super clean environment. Highly recommend.

Out of towners looking for good ice cream and this place was SO GOOD. The server offered me samples of anything I was curious about and the amount of ice cream you get for the price is unbeatable, not to mention delicious. The ladies working the counter were so friendly.

Kids love this place. Quality ice cream, friendly staff. It’s popular, so there’s often a short wait.

As a local guide and ice cream connoisseur, I take my responsibilities as a judge of ice cream far too seriously. And because of that, I don’t hand out reviews of any variety lightly.

In my first visit to Wicked Awesome, I did not witness any of the following-

-No stale cones
-No denial of a free sample
-No rudeness from the owner (she wasn’t there)

I did see:

-A plethora of flavors
-Multiple staff members, all of whom were friendly and provided prompt service
-A sign prohibiting children from sitting on the counter (pretty reasonable)

As for the ice cream: I had the mint chip (pictured) in a sugar cone. The mint flavor and ice cream consistency were perfectly good; there were far too many chocolate chips. I realize that’s pretty nuanced criticism, but it’s the reality of my experience. By the time I was about 50% in, I was a bit over it. Thus, 4 stars.

I’ll go back and try something else. I may bump up the review depending on my next experience. And hopefully I’ll go at a time where I can see if this owner really is so terrible ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

EDIT: I came back to Wicked Awesome. Tried something different, which was only okay, BUT, I’m going to say that was user error on my part. We had a big order and the teenagers working did a great job of taking care of us. I’m going to bring it up to 5 stars on account of the 3 guys working Friday night, 2/11/22.

Super clean place with employees who actually wash their hands before serving. ice cream was top notch (even the lactose free selections were creamy without the weird aftertaste). Found my new ice cream joint.

Stopped in and got some ice cream for the family. Autumn was very nice and professional. We would definitely be back. Ice cream was wonderful

Took my family to this ice cream shop. Huge selection of different flavors with a variety of other desserts. Very clean, drawings are awesome. Ice cream is fantastic

I love this place!! It's always super clean and the staff is so friendly. The Boston Tea Party is a must try! I've never had another ice cream like this. My go to is that with a cake cone. They offer pretty decent portions so I typically get the kids size. It's my favorite ice cream shop in the area and I always bring people when they come to visit. (And then force them to try a sample of Boston Tea Party)

Absolutely LOVE all the drawings on the windows!!!! Thank you for such a beautiful drawing for Memorial Day! People forget those who we have lost over all the years. Thank you so much for carrying DAIRY FREE ice cream! I enjoyed it so much. The fact I can go with my family for ice cream is GREAT! And......... The non dairy ice cream was AMAZING!!!! The employees were awesome! The bathroom was absolutely spotless! And..... I got to meet the new owners of the shop and their two kids. ALL of them were so nice and friendly. This place is a must stop by if going through and a destination for an amazing experience!!!!!

I have lived in the LWR area for 20+ years. I always drove by this place and never went in until last night. I have read the negative reviews and my mind is absolutely blown away on how wrong they are. This is an amazing ice cream shop. I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners and they are super kind and sweet. When speaking to the owner I was actually informed that the most recent negative reviews are from a disgruntled ex-coworker. I would most definitely recommend this ice cream shop to everyone.
