St. Vincent de Paul Society Thrift Store

I have loved the location in Kennesaw for years now, and only found out about the Marietta location in late 2021. This is a volunteer run shop with the most amazing people who really care to help you have a nice shopping experience. This location just like Kennesaw is always selling VERY gently used items and even a good bit of the time I will find things that are literally brand new with tags. Thank you for the generous donations of the community, as it is hard to find clothing that fits and thrift shops like SVDP are a lifesaver for finding all styles of clothing in your size at one spot. The holiday sales are especially generous where they will sell themed items for very very low prices. Thank you to this location for providing me such warm customer service during my pregnancy when I was here collecting baby items and baby clothing. :)

Great place for super discounted clothes and such all volunteer staff insures the money is reinvested in the local community mainly helping the poor and needy so typically overlooked. Friendly helpful mostly seniors who'll find what you need like Laura and Maureen

The manager, Denise, and honestly the entire team was fantastic! Such a helpful and kind crew at this location! They worked with me all afternoon! Looking forward to coming back many more times in the future!

I am not one who has needed much help but fell on some difficult times lately waiting on my short term disability to be paid. I have a great job and have made a nice life for myself and my young daughter but they still took us in and treated us no different than any others needing help. I really want to say thank you to the volunteers here. You have restored my faith in humanity. I haven’t stopped thinking about how kind you guys were and it brings me to tears. Know that I noticed each and every volunteer there wanting to help in their own way. I can’t wait to give back to you guys so you can help others like me and of the like. My daughter and I have already started to go through the pantry and our older clothes to donate. I hope at night all of you go to sleep knowing you made such a huge difference today in my family and so many others. Once again, thank you and you are in my thoughts and prayers.

SO many good finds and the cashiers were really nice, everything was amazingly priced too thank you !! If you have time you should definitely visit this store and remember to wear a mask because they are mandatory :-)

Pleasant atmosphere, good selection of 2nd hand items to choose from. They color code and put certain colors on sale. I like that. Unfortunately, they close pretty early during the week, except for Fridays.

Today a volunteer named Mark, arrived when he said he would, called first, and quickly loaded the GE side by side refrigerator that we donated. We feel good knowing that this organization is going to be able to put it to good use. As a bonus, we get a tax deduction.

The prices were reasonable and I found a really nice recliner sofa which I purchased and they will hold for me till this weekend.

I love coming to this place. Everything is clean and organized. I have found great items at a very good price.

Great stuff! They REALLY need to update their hours online though. I came here and they were closed. While I was posting this, others came by as well thinking that it was open as posted on their website.

They are very prompt and pleasant just good people to deal with . I have been on both ends giving and receiving and the experience was exceptional courteous
