Marietta Diner

Cute! We were searching for a place to eat, found this diner and saw that it had good reviews so we decided to stop and eat. Let me begin by saying that you better be hungry when you stop and dine the portions are HUGE! Our waiter was great, on point, attentive, so thank you. The minute you walk into the diner, you feel like you went back in time, super cute. They have cake and desserts. We ordered burgers, salad, and sandwich. Everything was really good. We also ordered a suicide chocolate cake or something like that... whoa. Again, I hope you're hungry because you can't really tell by the pictures, but the servings are huge, especially that salad. If you are passing by Marietta, Georgia, you need to eat at Marietta diner at least once! We were greeted by this nice girl and served by her most pleasant Greek husband, Costa. He was attentive and helpful all the time we were dining. Outstanding service! The food was delicious, and the portions were more than enough. Just looking at the dessert selection makes your mouth water.Beautiful setting, great atmosphere. I hope to go back sometime.

I was really impressed when I pulled in. The design is gorgeous and old diner styled. It’s Greek owned by a family with 6 restaurants.
Our server was Yannis I believe and he was incredible. Very personable, did not mind repeating himself with my difficulty hearing, and every single ordered item was correct.

I was a little surprised by the prices as it was all a bit more than I’m used to at diners BUT when the food came out it made total sense. Very large portions, you will not leave hungry.

Went here for lunch with my mom when passing through Marietta. We were surprised by the large amount of people that here just for lunch. The menu was also just as surprising being 4 pages long and including breakfast, lunch and dinner. We ended up getting a Greek platter and Gyro Philly Cheesesteak along with some Onion Rings. Initially I was worried with the big menu thinking that quality would be sacrificed for quantity, but surprisingly, the food was pretty darn good! The Onion rings were fried well and all the meats on the Greek platter were smoked and grilled nicely. Our server was also very kind and cordial to us as first timers. Looking through the menu, their breakfast items are more cheaper and affordable than the other menu items which would explain why we saw others ordering breakfast items during lunch. With such good quality food and service, we definitely found what place to go to eat when around Marietta.

We found this place by chance. Had not idea what we wanted for food but the options here are endless!!
Came about 5-5:30pm parking lot was pretty full but we didn’t wait more than 4 minutes for a table.

Service was great! A loud atmosphere just due to all the people in there chatting.

Food options were so many! They have daily specials too!

We had to have cakes too because the display was so beautiful!! They have many options!! Please check them out and get you something you won’t be disappointed.

I tried the chicken Maria I think. Would love to come back again soon when in the area.

Family took me to dinner while I was visiting. I forget our waiter's name, but he was a nice, friendly man. He had a positive attitude and a smile every time he came to our table. He got us everything we requested in a very timely manner. I got the impression it is family owned (I did no research before going). There is a large menu that I think even a picky eater might find something to eat. You get nice portions for the money you are paying. Depending on selections for dinner for two, costs could range on the higher end of $75 plus. That said...it was worth it. I took home: half my Roasted Lamb and potatoes, my entire House salad, a Spanikopita square and some bread, and a large (could feed 2 people) slice of cheesecake. If you are in the area, I recommend Marietta Diner. Just make sure you have a place to keep you leftovers.

Man I’ve always driven past here and seen it’s jumpin’ but never went in until today. I must say, it’s spacious, clean & everything looks upscale/good condition. Love how chrome out the building is on the outside. Inside they got good music that’s not too loud or too low. Waiters are clean & polite with great customer service. The food was great and fulfilling.

I went on a Saturday night with a party of three and I was sat in ten minutes. The staff was working in sync to provide wonderful service. The food was absolutely delicious and came out not even ten minutes after we ordered. The little spinach bites are savory and the lemon chicken soup is hands down one of the best soups I have ever had. Our waitress Georgia was the sweetest server and she was working hard to keep our drinks filled and to insure we were having a high quality meal. She made wonderful recommendations. The next time I come back I will be sure to ask for her as my waitress again. I would absolutely recommend Marietta diner. Thank you for the wonderful service

Marietta Diner is a local favorite. While the food is amazing, the service is BAR NONE! The owner Gus and his entire family treat their patrons as if they are invited guests in their home. Gus’s larger than life attitude is bigger than the larger than life portions they serve at Marietta Diner! It is no wonder they have been in business for so many years. No matter what restaurant you visit within their franchise chain, their signature service and delicious food is always amazing and consistent across the board!

Omg This place is great, the service was excellent, the food was excellent and hot, the portions are great and the atmosphere was live! The crab bisque was delicious, it was hot! I got a thing about cold or lukewarm food especially cream based. Dressing for the salads were homemade and fresh. I got the salmon with vodka sauce, rice and veggies. Delicious and I am sorry I forgot to take pics!

Excellent quality of food and service, but the part of the restaurant they seated us in was extremely loud compared to the main section. It was hard for us our waiter and us to hear each other, as well as difficult to have a conversation amongst ourselves at the table. But food was wonderful, fresh to order, and hardy helping size. A little on the pricy side, so be prepared for that before you go.

Place was crowded and staff did a great job making sure all patrons were well taken care of. Warning: they give you so much food. Portion sizes are huge. It was not expensive either, you get the most “bang for your buck” here! Food is fresh and homemade so surprisingly it still came out quickly. These scene is very live, bright lights and colors. Family oriented as well.

What a cool diner to go have breakfast. What I had was filling and tasted good. The atmosphere with all the photos of celebrities who eaten there to the whole 50s vibe is cool. The staff from top to bottom were top-notch. Can't wait to come back.

Good food great service and what seems like endless options for good food. Greek, Italian, seafood, American and more you could eat around the world and never leave your seat. Everything we ordered was good and our server was great.

We were meeting family here for some dinner, and we were pleased to see that our two waiters were quite friendly, and had come from Greece. The food was absolutely awesome, me and my brother inhaled the half-pounder mac and cheese burger, and were left full and satisfied. Highly recommend.

Marina was a wonderful server, funny and full of energy and light. The meal was outstanding, plentiful too. At first, I thought it was pricey, but after seeing all the food that you get, it was spot on. Soup, salad, appetizer, and huge plate of food! The place was very busy and on the noisy side being an open concept dining area, but other than that, perfect 👌! I would come back again for sure!

The food was really good. The prices may be little high but I think it’s worth it cause they give you a lot and I mean a lot of food. Our waitress today- I believe she is from the islands - but she was by far hands down the best waitress I’ve had, she was sooo pleasant and patient.

Hubby, myself, our son, his girlfriend, and her adorable daughter went here for my birthday. The food was delicious and plentiful. This is our second time here. The atmosphere was very nice.

Wow. What an experience. First time in Atlanta and this is the first stop. I’m surprised we couldn’t see this place from Portland with how it’s lit up.

Ok. Huge interior, tons of parking. And omg a drive through open 24/7 too.

We were seated quickly, and had great service.

Food wise - it’s overload. So many options breakfast, lunch, dinner, bbq, Greek, milkshakes, you name it.

And wow the food was fast. And delicious. I had ribs that came with mashed potatoes, vegetables, soup, and a salad. What? So much. I didn’t even try finish but took it with me to go.

We had a large table no one ordered the same item and everyone loved it. And no mess ups on customizations or anything. They nailed it.
