Chip is one of the best Striper guides on Lake Murray. Not only does he try to fill up your cooler with fish, he tries to teach you how to do it yourself and make you a better angler. He normally gets my group of buddies twice per year for a charter.

(Jan 8, 2023) Lake Murray SC, fishing Stripers with good friends and our awesome guide, Captain Chip Bragg. He had us on fish early and gave us a great fishing experience. We caught plenty of keepers and tossed the rest back for next time. Chip is a total pro and I would highly recommend Sea-N-Stripes to anyone.

Hands down the best guide in area. Always has a ton of fresh bait and very knowledgeable about Lake Murray. Chip goes above and beyond to make your trip a success. I use him exclusively 3-5 times a year when I have company in town and want to show them a good time. Book with him, you won’t regret it.

Chip is the man, and the best guide I’ve been out with on lake Murray! He helped us have an epic time together catching striper and even caught a rare blue one! Went out with Chip 11/1/23. Party of 4 and had a blast. Weather turned off extremely cold and windy and he still put us on the fish. Excellent guide and very professional. If you are debating on booking, I can tell you stop now and get it reserved. Can’t say enough good things about our trip.

Had a great weekend fishing with Chip. Most knowledgeable lake fisherman I know and you won't find a boat more comfortable to fish out of. We had a group of 6 and wanted 2 boats. We had a great experience, Chip is exactly how you picture a fishing guide to be, professional, knowledgeable and he showed how and what he was looking for on the water. He made each in our group feel like very good fishermen (when none of us really are)! We caught or limits from both drifting and trolling. Highly recommend him to anyone who wants to learn or just pull in fish.

One of the best, if not the, best guide on Lake Murray. I’ve fished with Chip several times and we always catch fish! He has a wealth of knowledge that he doesn’t mind sharing while on the water. Three of my buddies and I went striped bass fishing on Lake Murray, with Chip as our guide. He picked us up (on time) at my dock, and took out to a few spots on the lake. It was a fun, entertaining and productive fishing excursion. Chip is a blast, his boat is clean and very spacious and is outfitted perfectly for fishing…and he knows the lake!! He not only put us on the fish, he also coached us and answered all questions we had about finding and catching stripers. Would we use Chip (Sea-N-Stripes Guide Service) again? Absolutely!! Two thumbs up, five star rating…no doubts. Try him, you’ll have a great time!!

You never know what you’ll get when you hire a charter or a business of any kind for a service. It’s usually a shot in the dark and hopefully someone gives you a good recommendation and the personalities click because that’s what makes the trip. Chip has a clean boat, fresh bait, works his tail off the entire time to make sure you’re able to relax and just enjoy “the catch” and at the same time offers good conversation and just a good time. Really nice guy and we’re already talking about hiring him for another!

Had a great time , great prices , drove all the way from Florida and everything was professional. Boat very Roomy , Comfortable and it definetly catches fish , I was on with my first striper 20 minutes right after leaving boat ramp ! Chip is very fish savey and will send you home with your fish in a jiffy ! Great teacher and will offer to clean your catch , I got back home to Florida with my bag limit on ice could not enjoy this trip more , can't wait to make.it back this winter !!! We fished with Chip two days and had a blast. The man knows more about striper fishing than anyone I have ever talked to. Lots and lots of fun, we seriously caught them up!
