4-5 miles of fairly rough road once you pass Keystone. AWD and some decent clearance helps, but I saw regular cars along the way. A good amount of dispersed camping in designated spots. Hiking trail is about a 1/4 mile up the road past the parking area on the right. Very easy to follow. You can take the trail to Argentine Pass and then go right for Argentine Peak or left for Mt. Edwards and points beyond.

Road to trailhead ok, probably fine for all vehicles. About a dozen parking spots at trailhead. Trail provides access to Mt. Edwards and Argentine Peak

Starting elevation + increase of 1800 ft made this hike generally challenging, but not technical in any sense. Also, the drive on the dirt/rock road to trail head is no joke, 30 mins and rough

Would recommend a mountaineers start to star gazing and sunrise from Mt. Edwards. Road to the trailhead is bumpy and rutted but I took it in a rental Kia Soul and was fine.

Challenging hike to there. Continuing to Grays is very difficult - extreme exposure and not a well defined trail.

Still would recommend for those seeking a challenge
