L'Etoile Patisserie

I have visited here several times on work trips in Huntsville and love this gem of a place. Always been very satisfied with the things I've tried and the staff is extremely helpful with answering questions about the pastries. I would recommend going early as things can sell out. The space is very charming and comfortable for enjoying a treat and coffee. Some of my favorites are their croissants which they have in both sweet and savory ways. Parking can be difficult if they are busy as the lots are shared with several other businesses in the building but it is worth circling around a few times to go.

The freshest pastries around. My friend who is a loyal fan that has been coming for years insisted I try it and I was not disappointed. I recommend the chocolate croissant and the ham and swiss!

Beautiful venue that makes you feel like you stepped into France. Delicious, buttery pastries and strong coffee! Great place for business collaboration meetings or a quiet morning with a friend.

I came to Huntsville for a visit with my daughter. We came to the bakery for a mother daughter breakfast on Saturday. I had a raisin roll and a chocolate croissant. And my daughter had a shu pastry. Let me tell you. They were incredible! The lamination! We tried counting the layers and we couldn't. The owner came out from the kitchen and greeted us. I had already decided that this is now my favorite place in Huntsville but having him care enough to take a moment with every customer was the icing on top for me. If Nebraska wasn't so far away I'd be in every Saturday. See you next time we come down. Everything was excellent!

*** 7/9/24 update review - This is still the only bakery I buy a baguette from. The crunch on the pointy ends, the chew, the "crumb" texture on the inside, the technique (all the way down to the angle of the "expansion" slits made in the top)....are reminiscent of the ones in French bakeries in Europe and Africa. -- A lot of local stores and bakeries have loaves of bread that look like baguettes but the technique and flavor is not there. Their technique is closer to soft bread that looks like a baguette except with rounded ends and slits made for looks. ***

You have to get there early Huntsville! -- They'll need to expand quick or find an off-site kitchen to keep up with this demand! ❤👍 Line gets long quick, all soft opening days (private and public) sold out by 10am average. The best bakery in Huntsville! Everything is made fresh daily and so delicious. The esthetic and music make you feel as if you are sitting in a Parisian cafe.

WOW!!! Absolutely phenomenal!! The atmosphere is warm and inviting with well appointed indoor/outdoor seating…buzzing with happy customers (like eating outside in Europe ❤). Customer service is superior. The owner is very friendly/engaging and frequently comes to speak with the customers. You can feel the passion/love in the business and food. Most important - the pastries are incredible. The ham and swiss croissant is AMAZING! No other pastries in this area hold a candle to L’Etoile. You are missing out if you have not taken the time to visit this gem.

Well we ate it all! Love this place, so cute, the owner always comes to say thank you, we sat outside on the patio and enjoyed pastries and an americano. Perfect morning! Thank you.

Wow! The pastries are freshly made, crisp and warm. Customers are able to select up to 6 bakery items each - I ordered an assortment of items including the chocolate croissant and tiramisu.

Cutest French bakery with the most delicious handmade pastries! 🥐 come early because it is very popular and when they run out, that’s it! If you want more than 6 items per person, they recommend you call ahead.

I could write a long review here, but the simple fact is you need to come here and find out for yourself. As far as testimonials go, my 80 year-old German Grandmother, a lady of particular taste and an excellent baker in her own right, is continually impressed by the quality, delicacy, and complexity of the flavors we have come to expect at L'Etoile.

I was in the area on vacation and decided to stop in after checking out the reviews. When i say i stumbled into a magical place i truly mean it. I wish i could give this place 10 stars. From the atmosphere to the service… no words begin to come close to describe this jewel. I never leave reviews but felt so compelled to do so. Everything down to the brewed coffee is amazing. This is not a starbucks or a dunkin donuts if you want a pastry or a cup of brew that wasn’t shipped in from a factory this is your spot! Open kitchen in the back you can witness what you’re about to eat being made infront of your eyes!

I got referred here by an acquaintance a couple of months ago and been back at least once a week since then. Very hospitable place. People are really friendly especially Kevin the owner. The coffee is delicious. Great atmosphere and environment. It has a nice place to sit inside but the sidewalk patio is really nice too. Bathroom is clean and stocked. Definitely recommend. First 5 Star I have given out in a review in a long time. Definitely well deserving. Thank you.

Stop 5 on my foodie excursion. I decided to bring my blind dad here because he’s always wanted to go to a French bakery. Even though he couldn’t see, I explained to him all the beautiful smells and pastries. He had the black coffee and as picky as he is he loved it. I tried the almond croissant and it was so airy and buttery. The cappuccino was delicious. My sister had a gluten free pastry, which she thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were delightful and treated us very well and were very patient. I will definitely return to this place when I visit back to Huntsville.

L’Etoile is an unbelievable bakery that serves all sorts of French classics! Their coffee menu is simple to emphasize their perfectly made pastries. They have breakfast pastries during the early part of the day and more dessert style pastries at the latter part of the day. Regardless of the time of visit, this cafe has an intimidate, fun setting with a decent amount of seating!

As a Belgian living close Huntsville, it was such a joy to discover these familiar pâtisseries. Made fresh daily and the quality is genuine. A little taste of home to me. This little gem has quickly become my weekly treat.

This place has the most amazing pastries and very good coffee. The staff is wonderful. I’ve loved to bring work here, meet a friend or grab treats to go. When it is busy, the concrete floors can make it pretty loud inside.

Excellent in every way. Army retiree owns the place. He swings through the dining area to make sure everyone's satisfied. Popular, usually a good crowd but the line moves fast.
