Wow - what a ride. Very tough on the heart and longs. But also good from them (it's a workout).
I rated it hard - but to somebody from Colorado, it's probably moderate. I connected it with 3 or 4 other trails to make it a loop.

I went for a 6 mile trail run from here. The start was a little steep but then the trail levels out and is a great trail for running. Most bikers were great, only 1 came right on me without saying anything until the last minute. There are sections that are single track and a few areas that are a little wider. The trail itself has a few interesting areas. There's a section along the creek which is beautiful. Then there's an area with boards to cross around a steep section (I have a pic since I'm not explaining well!). And a little later there are great views of the mountains across the way with the beautiful valley. The parking area was semi full when we got there, and is larger than I thought it would be when I looked at Google. There are also a few ways to go from here, I started on the Aqueduct trail.

Beautiful trail! Came here in March and there was a ton of snow on the ground. Went and bought some snow clamps and came back. Highly recommend some snow shoes or snow footwear for this trail if coming off season. Loved it!

Such a wonderful off the road trail. Fairly easy for a family to hike around and play at the river. A must see if you visit beautiful Keystone, Colorado.

A great hiking trail with easy access from our Keystone location. The sound of water rushing down the stream was so energizing.

While Keystone Resort wasn't hospitable to us we had a great time at the Snake River.

Went in 1.5 miles from trailhead. Only 250 ft in elevation climb, enjoyable and gradual. Pleasant trail just to other side of stream by the road if you want more shade. I was there in March and the road was well groomed for cross country skiing.

Was here recently as a quick "sleep in my rig" spot before a winter snow hike in the am. Was only 1 of 3 vehicles there on a Friday in March. Quiet. Small An local spot to walk you dog at night and take in the stars. Highly recommend

Beautiful trail. Not a lot of elevation gain, but scenic and follows a stream one direction where you can hear the running water all along. A couple places where you need to navigate some trees across the path and what not.

Always...but sadden because they are doing a lot of construction, changing the landscape up through keystone gulch. One of my favorite little drives lots of memories from 1993 till now...Will miss it. Everything has gotten so commercialized. Breaks my heart. Glad I took my kids up there last year.
At least I have my memories.

Well maintained. Some fell trees across the path but it has been since cleaned up.
