One Love Surf Lessons

My cousin and I took our first surf lesson with Frankie. We had an exceptional experience at one love surf school, thanks to their outstanding instructor, Frankie. As beginners, we were a bit apprehensive about learning to surf, but Frankie made the process incredibly smooth and enjoyable. His clear, step-by-step instructions demystified the sport and made complex techniques easy to grasp. His patience and enthusiasm were evident throughout the lesson, ensuring that wefelt confident and supported. I highly recommend Frankie for anyone new to surfing or looking to improve their skills. The quality of instruction here is truly top-notch!

Frankie is an amazing instructor. He is a very good surfer himself. I am a beginner surfer with some experience. I’ve surfed a few places before and took lessons with different instructors, but Frankie is the best. He’s practical and simply teaches you what worked the best from his experience instead of just book knowledge. I think you’ll be able to have fun with him regardless of your skill level.

My granddaughter wanted to learn to surf for her 16th birthday, so we headed to Cocoa Beach. I’m so glad we went with One Love. Frankie and Brian were so patient and enthusiastic about teaching us, even though we were total beginners. Safety definitely comes first with them~the waves were pretty rough for our lesson, and Frankie did a great job communicating with us beforehand that he’d like to move our lesson to a different beach. Brian worked one on one with my other granddaughter (a very tiny, barely 5 yr old) and was amazing with her. The 16 yr old was doing tricks in under 2 hrs. If they can get a bunch of girls from Kansas up on boards, they can do it for anyone!

Franky did a great job teaching both of my daughters to surf. My youngest has never surfed before and within minutes he had her up and riding waves! We’ll definitely use him again when we are back in Cocoa Beach later this year. My girls had so much fun.

Brian and Franky were fun and knowledgeable instructors! My youngest just turned 5 and she’s 3.5 feet. Brian had her surfing within 5 minutes of us being there. He did great with her! While Brian had my 5 year old, Franky had me, my 16 year old, her friend and my mom. He had us all on n the board within just a few minutes on some of the roughest waters! AMAZING PEOPLE AND SUPER FRIENDLY!

My husband and teenage son had surf lessons with Franky while we were on winter break in FL last week and it was the most awesome experience! Even watching from the shore, I had a great time. Both said it was an exhilarating experience and appreciated how quickly Franky assessed their existing skills (snowboarders, so some balance skills already) and got them in the water and up on the boards! His enthusiasm for surfing made the lesson a ton of fun for all. Would ABSOLUTELY recommend if you're in Cocoa Beach!

It was a great experience for them. After an introduction on the beach they headed for the water and took their first waves succesfully!

We totally enjoyed our time with Instructor Frankie. He was super awesome with my 3 boys. My 9 year old didn’t want to do it at first but he was awesome at grabbing his attention. He had him surfing in no time. My boys were up on the boards fairly quickly. Frankie was very nice, kind and super patient as this was my boys first time ever surfing. When we were done my boys said it was totally worth the time and loved every minute of it. They said, “Mom stay in touch with him.” We definitely recommend One Love and Frankie. It was an awesome end to our vacation.

Best surf lessons!! We are so happy we used one love on our family trip to cocoa beach. We were a very diverse group of ages (6-44!) and Franky was so calm, patient and encouraging to all of us! We had so much fun we ended up coming back for another lesson!

I had a super fun surf lesson with Franky! In no time, I was in the water, and Franky was incredibly helpful in getting me to catch waves and correct my mistakes. His encouragement and guidance were top-notch, making the whole experience enjoyable and educational. I felt at ease and supported throughout the lesson. I will definitely go back for more lessons if I’m back in the area. Highly recommend for anyone looking to learn or improve their surfing skills!

I got my sister surf lessons for her 50th birthday while we were on vacation. Franky was the coolest dude ever! She took a 2 hour lesson and she was on the board, in the water, in 20 minutes. I wish I would have gotten my 4 year old son lessons too because Franky was so good with him. When we come back my son will be taking surf lessons from One Love. 🤙🏄‍♀

I have been meaning to take surfing lessons for about 3 years. So I needed the correct moment, but I gotta say I will be taking more very soon. I had an epic time actually catching a couple of waves. Thanks to Franky for being patient with me. Loved his positive outlook on me, catching a wave and riding it. I found a couple of surf 🏄‍♂ 🌊 instructors, but I was very happy that I went with one love. About 10 min on land, and I'm all in on the board. Franky letting me know dos and don't very casually lol like were hanging out I appreciate that. There were some fellas surfing about 30 meters away from me, and they didn't catch a wave with their own boards, yet I caught 2 almost 3 😁 thanks to Franky. Got Franky on the skim board doing it well making it look easy. Well worth the time would for sure be calling back when I hit Surfside Beach ⛱ again. Ask him about the parking spots about half a block away from his spot. your encouragement made the difference, thanks, Franky. One love !!

Frankie and team came to our house and helped my daughter overcame her fear of jelly fish and got her up on the surf board! They are so fantastic and highly recommend them to anyone who wants a lesson or to rent a board!!!! Frankie ans team helped make memories that will last a lifetime!!!

My husband booked a last minute lesson with Frankie on our last day in Cocoa Beach and is so glad he did! Frankie was easy to reach and texted the morning of about the less that ideal surf conditions for the day and gave him an option of rescheduling, a refund, or giving it a go. Since it was our last day he decided to keep the lesson. Frankie was kind and encouraging and taught a first time surfer learn to get up and ride waves over and over even on a crappy surf day! At the end of the hour Frankie let my husband continue to use of one his boards alone until his next group arrived. Overall an excellent experience with Frankie that my husband highly recommends!

We had a great time learning to surf my daughter and I! The instructor was good, fun and took the time to teach us the basics for both of us to be able to get up on the board (multiple times for my daughter) during our very first hour! He was very patient and is very passionate about surfing! I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family to get lessons.

Frankie is awesome! We are a family of 5, took a lesson with Frankie. By the end of the class, everyone was able to ride at least one wave, even for our 7 year-old! He was super patient and flexible! Definitely would recommend!

My son took a two hour lesson during our trip to Surfside Beach. Frankie was awesome and had him riding some waves before the lesson was over. My son (16 y.o) really enjoy the lessons and the professional teaching and coaching provided. Was a great way to enhance our beach time.

This was hands-down, one of the most fun things I’ve ever done at the beach! I am 40 and my son is almost 15. Frankie had us standing on our boards within the first 15 minutes. He is an awesome instructor, very down to earth, and we had a blast. Can’t wait to surf with him again!

We are down for our family vacation this week and the kids only wanted to surf. We found One Love Surf online and found a true gem of a time. It was the best morning. The kids instructor Frankie was awesome leaning in on the kids knowledge of past surf experience and really just having a fun time on the water.
