Camp Oswego

My family and I had an amazing weekend. Multiple fun activities, beautiful camp fires, delicious home cooked meals! The owners were very kind and great hosts! Definitely coming back!

We drove From South Florida to camp Oswego for the first time, and it was well worth it.  Upon arrival, we felt quite at home.  The cabin was very clean, and private.  We were taken by surprise at the beauty, and scenery, Ma shaa Allah.  I live in one of the most organized and quite cities, and yet arriving here has given us another level of calm and serenity that was needed to unwind, and re-energize. The camp was very organized.  The food, nothing like other camps I’ve been to.  They have home cooked food, which is a blessing.  The serenity that you feel as you walk through the camp - the sky there is so beautiful and clear, it is so easy to be captivated by the beauty of the stars.  The camp fire, and marsh mellow roasting was a bliss, and the kids could not get enough.  The satisfaction you get from just walking the trails or sitting under the stars looking at the lake at sunset can only be experienced, for it cannot be put into words.  Enjoying daisies, taking a run through the trail, biking, or swimming in the lake, are some of the many activities that you can choose from. Watching eagles flying high in the sky, or chipmunks running around was just FUN!  Nature gives you the chance to just re-charge so you can move back to your daily life refreshed and ready to go.   The activities are very educational and fun.  I can go on and on, and on.  Needless to say, I cannot end this minimized version of a wonderful experience without giving a shout out to Rasha.  She is really amazing.  She has gone far and beyond to make us comfortable in every step of the way.  Running back and forth and never taking a moments rest to make sure that everything is perfect and running smoothly.   We are certainly planning to go back next year In shaa Allah, and maybe even have our family reunion there! Pictures don't do this place justice!  Thank you for a wonderful summer break! My kids have told me they made life long friends at the camp.  They didn’t want to leave.

Our group just spent four days at Camp Oswego last week and it was a great experience. The camp site was great with a masjid, beautiful lake, gymnasium, soccer fields, spacious cabins and cafeteria. The camp staff did their best to accommodate to our needs and wants from the moment we first contacted them all the way up until our departure. We are grateful for the experience and look forward to building more memories in this blessed camp.

Very nice place and very nice people. Everything is clean and nice. Pleasant atmosphere and delicious food. Plenty of activities here to enjoy. Best of all its a great place for family time ❤

I have been at this camp for so many event this past summer, it is very organized and has really good employees. They allowed us to do many activities including zip lining , swimming, archery , and so many more. Matter of fact the food was amazing! The chef was a wonderful woman and you can tell her food came from the heart. Definitely will come back. Don’t listen to negativity from these other people. A camp isn’t a 5 star hotel and the people hosting it put lots of time and effort to make everyone feel comfortable. It is very wrong for you people to say these people are cheating people and they are sickening you when they are trying their best to keep us campers happy. Again, thanks CAMP OSWEGO for always making my camp experience amazing!

I came here with a group for a summer nature retreat and the experience was amazing. We had an awesome time walking to the lake, swimming in it, playing basketball, roasting marshmallows, and many other activities. I will definitely come back here. Brother Hesham was very welcoming as was all the other staff. Great experience!

I don’t think the people leaving negative reviews have ever been to other camp sites. Having bathrooms inside the cabins is not something most camps offer. The owners are very kind and are extremely open minded about receiving feedback. There are definitely improvements that need to be made that the owners are aware of and working towards. I loved the food, swimming activities, fishing, and masjid Amu Fikry right in the middle of camp. Cannot wait to visit again.

💫 This is a great, inexpensive family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 camp, kid-friendly, if you love🥰 the outdoors and being close to water🚣‍♀ This camp has everything a family needs They have scheduled activities for all ages. Activities include and are not limited to swimming, hiking, archery, campfires[ Cheesy songs and marshmallows] football⛹‍♂,tennis, volleyball🤾‍♀ 🚴‍♂ etc.. They have a part of the river sectioned off as swimming pool🏊‍♀, , The kids are 🏄‍♂ active from sunup to sundown creates opportunities for many memories for you and loved ones.💑

I was particularly pleased with the nutritious🍽 options for meals🌮🌯🥙🧁, the chef IMAD 👨‍🍳 cook a good delicious HALAL dishes…The cabins are 🏘 cozy and have electricity. The restrooms are well-located. The facilities are fairly clean and the staff is friendly 🏞
My family and the other 2 families that joined us We all had a great time🤗🤗 so it was one of the first vacations I've been on since becoming a Mom where I could just relax and enjoy the kids.
Great weather ..Great staff! Maintenance, recreation staff, kitchen and office gang - every since one we encounted was positive and pleasant.

Many families👨‍👩‍👧‍👧👨‍👩‍👧‍👧👨‍👩‍👧‍👧👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 are there for the 5th or 10th time, and have made it a family tradition. I can see why – we definitely will go next year also. It would be a great place to go with mixed generations and ages, something our extended family has had trouble finding.

This is my 5th visit to Camp Oswego, and I can’t imagine a better Islamic vacation place to go. The drive here alone puts you at peace with all the green along the way. Love the 30+ Acre lake it’s so serene. And all the outdoorsy activities are great still haven’t done hiking I’m a bit out of shape but archery is fun, kayaking, volleyball are my faves. And of course knowing the food is halal and buffet style is very very good! Come trust me you will like it...but remember camping is not hotel...it’s camping LOL!

I came here in the summer for a group camp. Amazing facility with a huge space, nice and clean cabins fitted with electricity, fridge, microwave, and restrooms, and tons of options for recreation, from a huge lake with canoes/kayaks/jetski/waterslide, volleyball and soccer fields, zipline, basketballl court, indoor gym, game boards like foosball/pingpong, campfire sites and a lot more. The food was delicious, prepared by the campsite staff and served in a spacious indoor cafeteria. And the hosts were delightful, always there to help in any way they could. Don't listen to negative reviews from pampered campers used to luxury. This site is a bit out in the woods, but that's the whole point in camping! And the drinking water is drawn from natural springs, which may take some people some time to get used to. But if you absolutely can't stand it, you're always free to bring bottled water with you to store in the fridge!

I have been going to Camp Oswego for 5 years. Once again I had an amazing experience. The people that I meet at Camp Oswego loves it there and we recommend it to everyone who has children and also adults that wants to have a wonderful summer. Camp Oswego has countless activities to do there. First of all, there is archery, hiking, soccer, basketball, tennis, volleyball and many more. There is also the lake. The lake has kayaks, canoes, boats, and 3 Jet Skis. You can also swim. Next to the lake there is ziplining which is a thrilling experience. We also can't forget about the astonishing food, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Btw most camps don't server 3 meals a day, so its a pleasure to have great food at Camp Oswego.

This camp has EVERYTHING. The food is great! They have a BIG gym! BIG lake! 3 fast jet ski! Camp Oswego even has zipline! The sight is INSANE! BIG camp fire! Would go again!

Great camp with everything you need included in the price! Amazing staff who were willing to work with your schedule to give you a memorable experience. May Allah reward them for all of their efforts! Ameen!

We spend our Eid Al Fitr over there it was very friendly atmosphere , the staff was very helpful and courteous, great environment for children and adults as well. Food was very generous.

I go to a camp every year. Out of all the camps I went to Camp Oswego is the best one!

Super fun family friendly or even going by yourself everyone is super nice the best part is the campfire and the lake.

Very recommended for families with kids. The lake is gorgeous and tgere is plenty of greenery
