I had a great experience at Retina Specialists of North Alabama. The staff was friendly and professional, and they made sure I was well-informed and comfortable throughout my visit. The care I received was top-notch, and I’m very pleased with the results. Highly recommended!

Dr. Saini and his wonderful team have always been respectful, caring, and LISTENED to my concerns and questions regarding my care . During a particularly scary time, when a hematoma blocked my vision in one eye , they worked me in same day, to take care of the time sensitive matter and worked diligently to preserve my sight . I wouldn’t trust my Care to anyone else. If you have to wait… well it may be you one day that has an emergency and on that day you will be greatful for the time and consideration they show to you and your sight. I certainly was and it changed my perspective on wait times completely.

Dr. Saini and his dedicated team have taken wonderful care of me for years. Since receiving my diagnosis of macular degeneration they have done their best to maintain my vision and relieve my pain. At nearly 92 years old, I am in a wheel chair they are not only in a handicap friendly building , they have worked with my severe hearing impairments and taken the time to make sure I can hear what is going on and what they are going to do to treat it. They have helped me see my grandchildren and great grandchildren for much longer than I expected and I will forever be grateful .

Dr. David Howgate’s macular degeneration for years. As his condition has progressed Dr. Saini and his team have worked hard to maintain his vision. Despite his growing health issues making it extremely challenging, they have always been there and done everything they can to take the absolute best care of him and maintain his vision. We couldn’t ask for a better Doctor or team to take care of him.

Dr Byrne is The Best eye specialist I’ve ever been to. Hands down the best!! Highly recommend him.

Dr. Byrne and his nurse were great! I was amazed by how quickly I got an appointment. They are 2 very positive people and made me feel at ease because one can tell they "know their stuff"! I will recommend them to anyone I know who has eye issues!

I had a retina tear and had laser surgery within 1.5 hours. I did understand that this is partly a triage setting. They must act quickly and that can come across as impersonal. I found they were very competent and efficient. I would highly recommend them..

Shoutout to this place (Dr. Persaud and his teammates) for being awesome!
I called them this morning and explained my emergency (I can’t see out of my left eye). They saw me within two hours (as a brand new patient), and out in 20 mins with prescriptions to Walgreens.
Super nice and thanked me for my service.

Dr Ready has been treating my retinopathy for about 2 years. I was nearly blind when I started seeing him and I now have 20/20 vision. I noticed improvements almost immediately after seeing him.

The staff here is excellent and Dr. Persaud and Dr. Saini are always great to work with. They've always managed to work me in for a same day visit when I've had sudden changes. That's extremely rare to find these days.

I had to have surgery and unforseen complications had to call Dr to get seen... always got me in that day...had to have more surgery and was worked in very quickly...I have seen 4 of the Dr now..lol... and everyone is very knowledgeable and nice

Found a torn retina almost immediately took me in the back and repaired it right then excellent outcome Dr Byrne is extremely competent and took very good care of my problem Highly recommend

Receptionist had a very bad attitude and wouldn’t answer questions or reschedule my appointment. You literally have a simple job, just reschedule the appointment to something that is better.
