Olde Towne Optical

I absolutely LOVE Old Town Optical! It is the only place I get my glasses/sunglasses now and its the only place we trust with our VSP. Tina will do everything she can to get you the best price and do what's best for you. If your prescription will not work with a certain frame you like she will inform you and not let you waste your hard earned money. I have followed Tina for the last 10 years for all of my glasses needs and will continue to do so! she has over 20 years of optician experience and is AMAZING! If you need a new place to go this is it!

Great Service. Tina is so patient and informative. She educated me about my prescription and was able to fit me in the right frames. She also fixed a pair of my favorite glasses, when I thought they couldn't be fixed. .

Tina is the BEST to find the right frames! After I looked for months all over town, she immediately pulled frames that were perfect and flattering. I am super happy.

Tina goes above and beyond to help select the perfect frames. She explains all of the options available so I can make an informed decision. And no matter how many times I need my glasses adjusted she always greets me with a smile.

Tina and Ruth provided extra support to help me. They gave yes/no suggestions to frames as I put them on and off and recommended the color, size, and shape.
When the glasses arrived, the prescription was too strong, and Tina coordinated with the doctor to have my refractions compared before ordering a new pair. They give time and attention to customers to ensure postive results.

This place was great. I went in with my prescription and they sat down with me and got everything taken care of. My glasses came in and Cassandra called me right away, due to her remembering I was leaving on vacation soon, great service and will continue to use them for my glasses!

I was disappointed that they didn’t have any round black frames. After I spent almost $500 on glasses (after my insurance,) I found hundreds of round black frames at Target. I have progressive no-line bifocals. I still can’t read the words on the television 4-feet from my bed. My peripheral vision is horrible. I found out two-weeks after I purchased the glasses, that there was actually a better lens that I had wanted but it wasn’t mentioned (Varilux Progressive Lenses.) I was told that they were trying to save me money, but they never gave me the option; I wanted the Varilux. I hesitated to go there because they’re in my ophthalmologist’s office and I’ve had a bad experience in the past with the same situation. I’m sorry that I bought there. I wear my bifocals at the end of my nose to be able to see the television. I feel very unattractive in these frames; there really wasn’t much choice in the size that I wanted. I’ve had them for less than six-months, but I’m going to Target to buy another pair. I will have to pay for the glasses out-of-pocket because I won’t be able to use my insurance again this year.

They tried to make the glasses right and sent them out to help remake the bifocal. Bifocals are still wrong and the frame fits weird. Discovered the right stem looked like it was broken when sent out to remake the lenses by the outside optical shop they contracted. Seems they tried to glue it back on. The difference is clear between left and right joints on the frame. Whoever polished the lenses, they now create a weird reflection and I can’t wear them while on the computer. Should have went to Costco.
