New to town and I’ve been hunting good coffee spots. Focus on the coffee 😂 my expectations are usually low (most coffee shops don’t make good coffee is just flavored water) but this was great! I had a cortado. The pesto sandwich was delicious too. Love the atmosphere 😍 can’t wait to go back and the best part is that is only a couple of minutes away from my workplace!

Cutest coffee shop in the Huntsville area- pretty loud on the weekends but still a good spot to sit down and get some work done.

Coffee was amazing, service was fast and efficient. I had an americano but skipped on breakfast- will definitely have to eat there next time!

Amazing coffee shop!
I got the El Camino Latte which was mocha latte with habanero syrup. It was exceptional! Very nice counter staff. They even did the pretty flower design on it.

Gold Sprint Coffee certainly had a unique aesthetic. It was decorated with sports trophies, taxidermy, and lots of greenery. The shop itself had a large trophy case with sports trophies that dated back several decades.

Something that makes Gold Sprint stand out from its competition is the fact that the back of the shop has a small stage that acts as a venue for performers of all types. This isn’t something that I have seen in any of the other shops that I have reviewed thus far.

Cookie Butter Latte

The barista prepared us a cookie butter latte with whole milk as a hot drink. As a non-coffee drinker, this was my favorite of the three. It was rich and creamy, with a really comforting feeling. The drink, though not necessarily cookie flavored, was very pleasant. The sweet flavors paired well with the coffee flavors, but didn’t overshadow them, as the coffee flavor contrasted beautifully with the sweet cookie butter flavor.

Iced Cloudburst Latte

The iced cloudburst was my coffee loving friend’s favorite drink from this shop by a landslide. She really enjoyed this drink. This drink is a bit more coffee forward than the cookie butter latte, and the bergamot gave the drink slightly citrus-y notes that made it very unique.

Chai Latte

We also enjoyed a chai latte during our visit. The chai latte was enjoyable, with a very strong cinnamon and cardamom presence, that gave it a very fall feel. The cardamom gave it floral notes, and the cinnamon made it warm and inviting. The honey and vanilla gave the drink a sweetness, but took a bit of a back seat to the other two flavors. We all agreed that the drink was a bit reminiscent of a warm fall cider.

Overall, this coffee shop made it to the top of our list so far! I really enjoyed the atmosphere, and we found a drink that truly suited everyone. It is definitely a shop I could see myself visiting again!

New transplant to Huntsville and the first thing we sought out was a community centered coffee shop and I believe we found that with Gold Sprint. On a weekday there’s enough space to work but still have a gentle hum of chatter and music. We just went this past Saturday and was surprised at the wide variety of people there- a young professional meetup, a collaborative collage art group, a couple on a date, etc. This was already a good sign but the coffee sealed the deal. A standard cortado was made perfectly but what surprised me (as someone who doesn’t like flavored coffee) was their iced Cloudburst latte. It was a great balance of flavors and not too sweet.

First time in Huntsville a few weeks ago, and we're always on the lookout for good coffee when we visit places. Gold Sprint did not disappoint! They had adventurous flavors like bergamot and miso, and they were friggin' awesome. Definitely had (in a good way) a local vibe, with funky and sporty ambiance (bicycles, trophies, groovy witchy symbols). They also offer tasty food for really good prices comparatively. Definitely worth trying for coffee enthusiasts!

Gold sprint is amazing!! Love to come here and study! Their coffee is delicious and there is so much room. It's a nice place to hang but I wish there were more tables and outlets.

I’ve been here twice with my friends. The strawberry matcha was SO SO good. Tried multiple coffees though, and they were meh. Avocado toast was delicious. Great place to study with tons of seating. Workers are super nice.

An iconic example of the method to revitalize a run-down building in downtown with furniture, classy plants, and coffee brewed to perfection. Really couldn't have asked for better atmosphere with the secondhand furniture and deserty plants that rejuvenate the space among the brickwork. Coffee was phenomenal. Lattes as you would expect as well many breakfast options including classic avocado toast that transports you once more to the modern era. Definitely a popular place, but still worth the wait.

This place is amazing! Top notch service! Heath and Jacob were extremely professional. Very warm welcoming from the moment I came through the door. They have a great selection of food, coffee, and even a bar option. The facilities are clean. The whole atmosphere has a great 'feel' to it. I highly recommend trying this place out.

I work from home and I needed a change of scenery. I went here early in the morning and worked until 2pm. Very comfortable. Great food and the coffee was divine.

I stopped by Gold Sprint this morning after a doctor appointment for which I had to “fast”. Once I reached my car I knew that my day was not going to be worth anything unless I found coffee. Not just any coffee. Good coffee. So I whipped out my phone and searched for “coffee shop near me”. There were quite a few options that popped up, but one of them caught my eye; Gold Sprint. I demanded Google maps guide me there immediately, of course.

Gold Sprint is off the beaten path but not too far off. It’s about a block north of Bob Wallace avenue about a mile west of Memorial Parkway. The building itself is kind of odd for a coffee shop. It looks like it may have been a warehouse or even a car service station in some distant past. Naturally, the owners have done a lot to the outside to make it look much better, and it has a nice appeal in an “urban up-cycled” sense.

Park was a tad tricky because they were pretty crowded and I didn’t see all that many spaces. As I left I noticed there were more on the other side of the building. I’ll know better next time.

Inside I found a warm, welcoming place with a sort of tap-room meets bohemia vibe. Plenty of space, comfy seats and several tables.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that they also have food. I immediately zeroed-in on the breakfast burrito and a latte. In a couple of minutes I had everything. The latte was really good. I usually prefer darker roasts, but even though the roast was a bit “brighter” than I love, I still found it to be an excellent drink. The burrito was eggs, cheese, and bacon on a croissant (my go-to breakfast bread). It also was very tasty.

As I sat down to eat I took note of the décor and studied it in a little more detail. The shop logo hangs on the wall and features a black background with gold trim. Continuing with the gold theme, the place is bursting at the seams with gold sports trophies for marshal arts. I asked the barista about it and she said the owner found them at a bargain and thought they matched the “gold” styling he was going for, so he bought them. Lots of them. I also found a stuffed fox, a couple of bicycles, a (synthetic) polar bear rug, a small fireplace, a loads of plants. The sofa I claimed look like a mid-century design and was placed by an interesting glass coffee table with an eclectic mix of “artifacts” in it — including an animal skull (it didn’t seem as weird as it sounds here). All in all the décor added to the cool and welcoming environment and helped make the stop very memorable.

I look forward to taking my wife there and trying some of the other food items, too. Oh, and they also have beer on tap and wine there, too. That’s something I don’t find often in coffee shops. But, hey, they pull it all off pretty well.

If you’re looking for a nifty coffee shop that’s not a chain and is off the beaten path (a little), I highly recommend giving Gold Sprint a try.

Have loved this place for years. Their new blueberry biscuit is GAS. They better keep it. Nothing you can order here is bad. Go wild. Great vibe, great coffee, etc.

Very cool and interesting place. Had no clue it was even there. The beer was good and the service was also good.

This is such a cool coffee shop! It hasn't been open long at all, but I'm already a big fan. There are plenty of places to sit and hang out (plus the outdoor seating will be great if it ever cools off a little bit), and the drinks are delicious. I love the specialty coffee scene in Huntsville, and Gold Sprint is an excellent addition. I highly recommend it!

Chic, eclectic, at-home vibes at this spacious coffee shop. I can understand why people choose to come here to catch up, work, or enjoy the delicious food and beverages. Shannon was very helpful!

Always good, always relaxed. I like the white chocolate mocha with nutmeg on top. Also, the regular coffee is good. Nothing fancy - just fresh brewed coffee in a mug but it’s great.

Such a vibe! The place was roomy and vibrant. The specialty drinks were a delight! We didn’t order food because the kitchen was backed up, but the drinks were good!

Tried this place over a year ago when I was visiting Huntsville now I'm back to stay. Brought my laptop to study and grabbed a bite to eat. 10/10 recommend. Great atmosphere & friendly staff. Came on a Sunday to study. Was busy but I still got a place to sit and hung out for a few hours while getting some work done. I'll be back for sure!

Interesting coffee shop with great people, tasty scones and fantastic breakfast burritos. Jesus my redeemer, lots of indoor spots to sit with different rooms and unusual decorations, trophies, plants, chairs and the like. Many outdoor seating areas some are covered. It is a bit of a drive from Florence AL but we do not have any coffee spots like this. Be sure to check out the 100 year old bathroom door.
