I have been with Dr. Cowart 23 years. He’s is an amazing Dr. who will listen to your every concern. He will answer your questions and ask his own pertinent questions for your concerns. He has saved me so many times I can’t even begin to count.

Going to Dr. Cowart for 11 years. He is thoughtful, thorough, polite. Quiet but happily answers questions. So glad he is my doctor.

I've been a patient of Dr. Cowart for over 12 years. He is quiet, but answers all my questions and is always kind and respectful. He immediately puts you at ease with his demeanor. He does get straight to the point and is very efficient. My husband has been a patient for almost as long and wouldn't see anyone else. I referred my mom to him who now drives from Cullman to see him. You can't find a more knowledgeable Endocrinologist.

Dr. Cowart has been my endocrinologist for almost six years, and he is an invaluable part of my health team. He listens, answers your concerns and explains your treatment plan. I have had great experiences with him and his staff. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Dr. Cowart's number one concern is your health, so don't expect him to hold long social conversations.

Dr. Cowart is one of the last great doctors. I've been going to him for just under a year and I can say that he is not the whiz bang type of doctor that is going to spend less than 2 minutes with you. He likes to know the details and several times now he has actually performed research before giving me a diagnosis or assigning a treatment path. Yes, it takes a little longer in those scenarios but I like that he tries to get it right and respects my time and money.

I have been Dr Cowarts patient for over 10 years. He has always listened to my concerns and my health issues. Lucky to have him as a doctor.

I've been going to Dr.Cowart for 7 years..he is very professional.he take his job very serious.I will always go to him as long as long as I have to or until he dismisses me..he is a good respectful man and an awesome doctor.he is not big on chit chat..but if it has anything to do with your health .he is there to help you anyway he can!

Thorough and listens to concerns

I have been a patient of Dr. Cowart for almost 1 year. I have to say that my first meeting with him did not seem very positive for me. It was during my 2nd visit that I realized Dr. Cowart is a bit of an introvert and you just have to get him talking. He has ALWAYS answered any question I had but in the first visit, there was very little 'bed side manner' ; he answered my questions in a short yet informative answers and did not encourage any other type of conversation. After I got him talking, I have had great, if not enjoyable, appointments ever since. I think Dr. Cowart is a great doctor and the negative comment listed here is probably from someone who couldn't 'read' this good doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr Cowart for many years and he has always been spot on with my treatment. I would never see anyone else! In my opinion he is a great Dr!

Dr. Cowart was rude and condescending to me as a patient. He laughed at me when I tried to discuss symptoms of my chronic disease. He would not answer questions and acted as though it was an imposition to be taking up his time. He was not interested in me as a person or a patient. He basically sniveled around the room and insulted me then darted out without answering any of my questions or addressing any of my concerns. I will never go back. I have heard from many other of his ex-patients who also hated how he treated them and who also felt like he had not given them a decent level of medical care. He isn't only a rude, inconsiderate person, he is a lousy doctor.
