Wonderful experience with my grandsons at Selah's Acres. Mike and Meeka and their family go the extra mile to make sure their guests are taken care of. Being in the middle of simple beauty, sharing fellowship, and making new friends was very special. Will we return? You bet!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Selah Acres glamping site, and I can't say enough about the relaxing experience and top-tier hospitality we enjoyed. From the moment we arrived, Meeka and Mike went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at ease.

The accommodations were not only comfortable but also thoughtfully designed to cater to families, singles and couples. We stayed in a spacious tent that had all the amenities we needed, from a cozy bed to space heaters/ AC unit and close to the bathrooms. It was the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern convenience.

What truly set this glamping site apart was the attention to detail in providing a serene and peaceful environment. The site was nestled in a picturesque natural setting, and the sounds of nature surrounded us, making it an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We enjoyed painting cedar wood by the campfire (shout out to Mrs.Kathy!) , taking leisurely walks through the lush surroundings, and even had a chance to try some family-friendly outdoor activities (and close enough to Hazel Green where if we needed something Walmart/restaurants were 9 minutes away).

The hospitality was exceptional. The staff were incredibly warm, accommodating, and eager to make our stay memorable. And our stay came with breakfast which was also amazing.

Overall, I can't recommend this family-oriented glamping site enough for those seeking a relaxing retreat with top-tier hospitality. It's the perfect destination to unwind, connect with nature, and create lasting memories with your loved ones. We can't wait to return!

Indeed, catching flights and maintaining emotional detachment is a unique experience. On a contrasting note, finding solace in nature rather than drama is equally profound.

I encourage everyone to visit Selah's Acres; it turned out to be a divine setup, offering a standard for me to lean on during a challenging week.

Rest, I've learned, is a powerful weapon. This week, I sought healing alongside 9 other black women, each essentially a stranger initially. Now, having shared this transformative experience, we are forever connected as THE Black Pioneer Women. I must highlight the exceptional hospitality of Mike and Meka Fellows, who, after the Lord, have been the most loving hosts I've encountered.

In a difficult moment, where my tendency is to withdraw into solitude and overthink, God sent midwives to help me breathe through the pain.

My family along with 13 other families camped here last weekend. (For clarity, not the glamping side.) When I tell you we were met with kindness, hospitality and such a good time! We were able to hike the property, eat, sleep and our kids played without being attacked by mosquitoes and flies! That’s huge for us! My kids loved playing four square, jumping in and out of the creek and swinging from the natural vines on the property! Thank you so much for hosting us alongside BKA! We will be back soon!!!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Selah’s Acres. We celebrated our 16th anniversary there. We selected “Peace” as our room. Our tent was beautiful. It had a touch of a modern/outdoors feel to it. My wife and I fell in love with the softness of the cow rugs. Our tent was spacious, and we slept peacefully. At one point, we forgot we were sleeping in an outside tent.
Upon arrival, Michael and Meeka Fellows immediately greeted us. Their presence alone made us feel like we were home away from home. They took us on a tour of their property. We sat on a bench at the pond and stuck our feet in the water. We enjoyed sitting back and relaxing as we soaked our feet in the water while listening to the peacefulness of the nature surrounding us. Mrs. Kathy, our arts and crafts instructor, was a sweetheart. Her stories were funny, and she kept us entertained. As the night began to wind down, we listened to soft jazz music, cooked food on the grill, roasted s’mores on the firepit, and played interactive games. They have an RV on the property for their guest to use. The RV has two bathrooms and a shower. Meeka Fellows cooked breakfast for us that following morning, and everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. My wife and I enjoyed ourselves so much that we decided to stay another night.

I have never stayed in a place so filled witb peace and joy. The vibe, food, tours, and hospitality were beyond expectations. As a vegetarian, travel food is usuallt bland and limited. Each meal was delicous. I will definitely return!
