Herschel King Boat Ramp

Launch ramp is long and
with very little slant.
Ease of launching our boat is on point.
Plenty of parking; clean restrooms and plenty of area to walk our dogs.
The entire park is well lit at night.

This is a nice park with shade a dock for fishing. The playground could be better taken care of. Spider webs n spiders all over the playground equipment. The bathrooms have all kinds of big spider webs hornet nests up on the ceilings.

This fish launch is in very good condition, with easy access and lots of floating docks. There is plenty of parking specifically for cars and trucks with trailers. I interviewed a seasoned fisherman putting his pontoon boat in and he said "it was one of the best fish launches he had ever used". The fish launch borders the Herschel King Park which has lots of amenities including barbecues picnic, table areas, restrooms, and plenty of trash cans. There is no water fountain. The boat ramp is average grade with no drop off at the end. The fish launch hours are 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Nice ramp, great pavilion, bathrooms, fishing dock, playground! Pretty active ramp so they could likely use just a few more parking spots

The facilities are terrific. The ramp itself is great, though I wish there was a way to bring a brush truck to brush away the moss buildup at the bottom of the ramps.

Busy busy ramp but it’s pretty good with decent amount of parking (fills up quick at times) fantastic floating docks, benches and park nearby. Super choppy for launching yaks here.

Nice place to sit in your chair under the trees and listen to the water and feel the breeze. Great boat ramp to unload your boat and go out and enjoy.

Fabulous, free, well maintained boat ramp and free truck and trailer parking while you're out on the river. This ramp is attached to Herschel King Park, which is a beautiful waterfront park. Check it out! 👍

Nice park not very busy on weekdays. Covered eating area. Restrooms have picnic tables and benches by boat ramp. Also have a dock u can go out on.

Best ramp I've ever seen, plus it's in a park setting with rest rooms, picnic pavilion and two fishing piers.
