Metro Ambulance Service

On Thursday, April 28, my family stopped to have lunch at Mia’s in Meredian ,Ms on the way to the beach. My granddaughter had a panic attack which we believe related to a chocking incident she had about a month ago. Mia called 911. They came promptly and were so professional, kind, and knowledgeable. They reassured my young granddaughter and all of us. We so appreciate them. Their names are Allison, Cameron and Jason. We will forever be greatful to them and to Mia. 💕

Last Friday August 14 between 11:30 am and 12 I had an emergency. I called Metro ambulance and it rang several times with no answer. I was so upset that I thought I had misdialed so I dialed again and it was like the other end picked up and immediately hung up on me. This happened two more times. I had to call my daughter and get her to call the ambulance for me. It took them approximately 20 minutes to get here. The crew was very nice but I can not understand why when you have an emergency you can’t at least get the dispatcher to answer the phone. This is not the first time I’ve had an issue with Metro Ambulance service. I’ve had the dispatcher hang up on me. When I called to complain there wasn’t anything done about the incident. I feel very insecure now that when a situation arises and it will that I will not be able to get in touch with them. This is unacceptable practice for an emergency service!

We have been waiting for 5 hours to be transported to Lakeside living center I understand that they have had a busy night but if they can't do their job in a more timely manner then maybe they should give the call to someone else! I am tired and want to go home and can't until my family member is transported.

Worst service possible.
The kids they sent to my house had me diagnosed 30 seconds after they SSA’s me. Shared their misinformation with the hospital and I was Never treated for my Real Problem!!

Won't send to insurance just to collection agencies
