Evergold Stables

Evergold Stables accommodates both Western and English riders and the owner does a good job of making sure everyone has the equipment needed. Although Brad is new to owning a boarding facility, he isn't new to running a successful business. He brings a new positive energy and new ideas to the table. Little by little he is upgrading the facilities to make the barn stand out in quality for the area and to provide the best care.

On top of a positive change in ownership, we were lucky to have the barn manager stay a part of the team. Crystal has EXTENSIVE knowledge, and YEARS under her belt of running a boarding facility, and caring for horses. She has the best interest of not only the boarders but also the horses. The quality of care is proven by the healthy and happy horses on the property. She is a jack of all trades and keeps the barn running smoothly.

The facility is a beautiful barn with a open floor plan with stalls that allows the horses to see each other. The barn is clean with great ventilation, and has windows to allow natural light to come in. The pastures are large and have great footing. Both arenas are worked up often and kept clean and open for all boarders.
So happy to have been able to bring both my horses back to this facility.

Great place to keep your horse! Property is very well maintained, horses are very well cared for, everyone gets along. Barn manager is on site. Beautiful indoor and outdoor arenas and great turnout. Oh, and gorgeous sunsets!

Evergold Stables is a very clean and great place to board your horse. I have been to many other boarding facilities and this place is my favorite by far. The staff takes excellent care of the horses, the barn and sheds are always clean. The horses get turned out daily and are very happy. Evergold is a family style, safe and fun atmosphere.

My wife ran her training business at this farm for years. We were always so impressed with the level of care and knowledge the manager had and her attention to detail. The people are absolutely wonderful and the fields and maintained immaculately. The hay provided is beautiful and arenas are drug nearly daily. The owner is incredibly kind and steps in at a moments notice to help with projects. They are continuing to work on building this into a family environment with a wonderful group. If we hadn’t moved south, we would have never left this facility.

We have stabled here for years and have continually been impressed with Crystal’s care of the facilities, grounds and our horses. They are great to work with and easy to talk to. The new owner is accessible to clients and is on property frequently- this has been a welcome change to previous ownership. Recent improvements and new jump equipment has us very excited! You will not find a more knowledgeable and attentive facility in the area!

One of my favorite stables in eastern Iowa. The facility is clean and well-maintained. The staff care a great deal about the horses they have been entrusted with. The environment is great for casual riders like myself.

The barn manager "Crystal" is very knowledgeable, friendly and has a true passion for the horses.

Does not meet industry standard of care. Knowledgeable in a backyard, nonchalant uneducated sort of way. If you’re a skilled horse person, steer clear. The list of egregious safety concerns and poor equine management are overwhelming. Owner knows nothing about horses- literally nothing. Its a nice nice looking place from the outside, and that’s about it.
