Crab House

If you love seafood boils then I highly recommend this place. Or if you love seafood and have never eaten a boil. We ordered 2 different boils.

Boil 1
Low country boil (1/2 pound of shrimp, 4 sausage links, 2 corn of the cobs, 1/2 pound of crab, 2 hard boiled eggs) we finished it off with an additional 1/2 pound of shrimp and old bay butter seasoning.

Boil 2
1 pound of shrimp, 1 corn on the cob, 1 potato. Finished in the house special sauce.

These were both amazing, highly recommend.

Total bill was $74.58 plus 15% tip.

Service was fast and very easy for this being the first time I’ve ordered a seafood boil at a restaurant.

Time to table was less than 15 minutes once ordered!!!

Great food, amazing service. Their boils are my favorite to order, the king crab is to die for. They regularly have specials to take advantage of as well!

What a genius way to keep 2 pounds of crab legs warm!! Especially when you eat one pond at a time! The butter is at the bottom of the bag just pour a little on your plate and that stays warm as well!!! First time there with a family of 5! Pricey but delicious it was my 62 birthday! Well worth it and we will go again!!!

Servings were generous. King & snow crab were sweet, we did enjoy the house sauce but will stick with garlic butter next time. Gator bits were mostly breading - the fries were delicious and seasoned well. Atmosphere was adorably put together.

Feels like home! The last time I ate crab was more than 10 years ago. This place rekindled my appetite for seafood. And I love the people here! They’re truly the most humble and polite individuals I’ve ever encountered in a U.S. restaurant. I will definitely be back soon!

The food was outstanding! On the pricy side, but what good seafood place isn't? Definitely worth the price and plenty to take home for a couple more meals. Very cute cartoony decor gives it a fun family feel. Service started out slow but redeemed himself by the end of the meal. It was very clean and one of the nicest restaurant bathrooms I've ever had to visit. I will certainly be a repeat customer!!

Crab rangoons to die for. Fried fish excellent. Our Indonesian waitress was so sweet and really made our experience enjoyable. Had a good time talking to her. Early Friday afternoon is perfect time to go. Didn't get it but their seafood boil looked amazing. Will definitely hit this place up again!!!

This place is so nice! The decor is so clean and neat. The service is really great, everyone is so friendly. The food was perfect. All the fried foods were cooked perfectly. There was only a trace of oil left on the plate. The person in our group that got the crab boil thought it was the best he's ever had. I wish I had taken pictures of the food.

We tried the place after seeing posts on Facebook. It was a wonderful treat the the food was excellent we are so coming back again!

This place was great! Good customer service, fast with our food! Prices aren’t too bad! We had the Queen of the sea!!

My son and I stopped in to eat this evening. Service was fast and delicious. We had the crab, Cajun fries, and seafood pasta. The fries were seasoned perfectly and the garlic butter sauce with the crab was to die for. We will certainly be back!

This place is amazing, I’m from Florida and I swear this is the best seafood I ever had IN MY LIFE!!! Friendly service, generous portions, this place ticks all the boxes!

Delicious seafood. We went to a similar place in Florida and this place in Iowa was better! Service was fast and friendly. Will definitely go again. Loved the early 90s cover music playing too

Amazing, blows away dixie garage. Is it a little pricy, yes. But we'll worth it. If the drinks were a little bit cheaper I would give it 10 stars

Crab house is delicious. Brand new restaurant in Cedar Rapids serving up food that probably not a lot of people in the Midwest have had before. Super unique to this part of the country. Prices are great for what you're getting, however the sauce on the food was a bit much. Kind of overpowering. Otherwise, would recommend. Super cute atmosphere as well.

We kept the flavoring simple so we could actually taste the crab legs and they were very good. The potatoes and corn at the bottom soaked all the flavor and were delish as well.

This is my first time in cedar rapids eat seafood....EXCELLENT food, clean and all the server are so friendly.
I will recommend to all my friends.

This place was amazing. My fiance and I were looking for a good dinner spot and decided to give this place a try. I got the snow crab and shrimp while he got the honey walnut shrimp. Super flavourful, melt in your mouth crab and tender shrimp. The fried rice was fluffy flavor heaven. 1000/10 will be coming back.

Attended opening day and must I say the food was delicious. The seasoning was great the atmosphere was great the only down side was service couldn’t really tell who our server was. Had to stop someone to refill beverages other than that everything was awesome!! Would recommend this place definitely worth every cent
