Secret Place Urban lodging

We had the most amazing stay at the Secret Place! We loved the decor and the hominess of this bed and breakfast. Sheila is an engaging hostess, and she is full of joy and kindness. We were impressed with the location and the relaxing environment. The entire bed and breakfast was spotlessly clean, and breakfast was delicious each morning. We also appreciated the comfortable bed and towels! Thank you for making our trip to Kansas City fantastic!

Sheila was a great hostess, making sure we felt welcome and were comfortable. The house and backyard were both beautiful and immaculate! I'd highly recommend The Secret Place.

I did some research on places close to where my show was going to be and I stumbled upon a gem!
This was my first time in a B&B experience, And I’m hoping all of my experiences are as wonderful as this one !! I felt like a princess in my beautiful room!
It was so clean the linens were beautiful and the bed was so amazing! Not to mention getting a breakfast in the morning made by Sheila who does such a good job caring for that establishment! You will not be disappointed but just to be aware it is in a certain neighborhood but I did not feel unsafe one bit!

A very enjoyable night away from home. The inn is beautiful inside and out. The innkeeper was very friendly and gracious. I was late checking in and she graciously waited for us. Our room was beautiful, spacious and well-decorated. The queen sized bed was soft and comfortable, definitely one of the better beds you find in more expensive hotels.

The breakfast was delicious and served in a beautiful dining room. My wife and I are planning on coming back with friends to have another night away from home.

This place was perfect. The view was great of the city. The house was beautifully decorated. And the quiche she made for breakfast was delicious. I'm not sure if it was planned, but the bacon that was served had some crispy, for me, and some rubbery, for my wife (I still love her despite this flaw). Overall we will plan to stay here again when we visit Kansas City.

What a surprise for me on our anniversary... This place is amazing I was mad my husband didn't bring me a little earlier. when we arrived it was late but I enjoyed sitting on the front porch by the way the weather was great. The house is beautiful inside and out and my room was so beautiful the bed I love love it bathroom, shower everything was so nice it smelled really good in there and we just so happen to have the place to ourselves so a plus. Woke up to breakfast that was hummy thanks again for making our day special.

Wonderful host and accommodations. Breakfast was eggs, French toast, bacon, juice, and coffee. Very relaxing and beautifully decorated. Sheila even went out of her way to print tickets for us that we purchased last minute for an event that evening. Will look forward to staying here again.

This place will not disappoint! It was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. Ms. Sheila is the perfect host! She will welcome you and make you feel right at home. I could not recommend this place enough. Look forward to visiting again!

If you are looking for a quiet little bed and breakfast. That is centrally located I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.
