Shortys Restaurant and Bar

It doesn’t look like it will be this good when you’re driving by the non-descript building with nothing else around. But it’s amazing food. I highly recommend the Chicken BLT and my husband loved his burger. Fries are good too. Nicole was a great waitress. Very attentive and kept our water filled. Very clean restaurant and bathroom. Parking was easy

What a wonderful experience the waitress was a Lil overwhelmed, but 30 of us rolled in, when she realized we were in no rush she felt more comfortable and everything was fantastic. Should try it out if you never been there

Don’t be fooled by the exterior! This restaurant has an immaculate interior and lots of places to sit and enjoy a good meal. It’s looks like a biker bar (not that there’s anything wrong with that) but it’s a great lunch spot after visiting the Flight 93 Memorial. My husband had the Buffalo Chicken sandwich which he loved (fries were great) and I enjoyed the appetizer special, chicken and waffles, which was plenty for me for a meal. Only thing to note is that refills on sodas aren’t free but it’s only $1. Excellent service with a smile, too!

Just stopped by on a recommendation from Rusty musket distillery. Looks like a standard road side restaurant. Doorways need better signage. Enter to the bar area, then greeted by a hostess who seated us. Basic seating area. Friendly waitress. The look is deceiving, the food was delicious. Cheese steak was perfect size and prepared. Fries were cooked perfect. Others in the group had onion rings and flatbread pizza. All were really good. Reasonable prices. Would definitely go back when in the area.

I had a listed special of sausage and pasta in a spicy sauce. It was great. Someone else ordered Alfredo which they liked as well. The margarita drink special was good. Nice place to try out!

Wonderful food! I ordered the duck breast with sweet potato and carrot puree and found it superb. The dish came with little sweet bites, I think they were grapes, that brought it together. Seriously impressive.

The place has been updated and is very nice. Service was great and food was excellent! The scallops were cooked to perfection!

I had the Philly cheesesteak and it was really good. Great cocktails as well. I recommend the Old Fashioned Very friendly staff too.

I loved Castagna's, but I'm really digging Shorty's. Homemade salad dressings, amazing entrees and an updated decor. What's not to love with Shorty's?

9/3/23 update. I've eaten here about a half dozen times since the original review. Shorty is a phenomenal chef. I highly recommend the Mahi and would line up for the duck. There was a week that I went back two times for the duck. Great pours. Great staff. GO!

We have been here twice now and their food is phenomenal. The pesto Alfredo was so so good. The drinks were a bit inconsistent based on the bartender but that happens.

We enjoyed our visit to Shorty’s. My high school son said that his Diablo Chaser Burger was the best burger he’s ever eaten. I enjoyed the Chicken Pesto pizza, a seasonal special. The bar tender took care of our table and she was fun and very attentive.

This is a great stop before going to the Flight 93 memorial, which has no food or drink options of real substance (water and chips).

Must stop here, I can not express how great the food is here. It's clean, the staff is extremely friendly but the food is to die for, I had the duck breast which not only tasted fantastic and the green beans were perfect but the presentation was stunning. I would come back everytime I'm in the area.

Hubby offered a night off from kitchen duty! 😉 I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and was definitely not disappointed! The burger was done to perfection. There were plenty of toppings including nice thick slices of mushroom & the burger itself was high quality beef (& a very generous size patty!) It was served on a delicious bun with a side of perfectly crisp french fries. Price was fair. The place is clean and nice. Order was done in 15 minutes. Will definitely patronize again!

Food was excellent (had the pizza). Nice selection of beers. Conveniently located near Flight 93 Memorial and a really cool little brewery (Forbes Trail Brewing).

Server was super nice and very prompt. Prices seemed fair ($13 for my small pepperoni and mushroom pizza). As others have noted, it doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside is very nice and the food is great so don't hesitate to stop in.

Shortys Restaurant and Bar is a fantastic dining destination that I recently had the pleasure of visiting. The staff was incredibly polite and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The food was outstanding - I ordered the steak sandwich and my wife ordered the shrimp tacos, and we were both thoroughly impressed with the quality and flavor of our dishes.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was also noteworthy. We particularly enjoyed sitting at the bar and soaking up the lively energy of the place. Speaking of the bar, the drinks were fantastic - expertly mixed and beautifully presented. Overall, we had a wonderful time at Shortys Restaurant and Bar and will definitely be back in the future. Highly recommend!

Best Philly Cheesesteak ever! The hot pretzels with cheese were also outstanding.

When we drove up into the parking lot after looking for a well-rated restaurant close to the Flight 93 memorial, I made sure I had my knife on my hip. The outside made me think of every sketchy bar I had ever seen in the movies, and I immediately wanted to resort to plan B. I AM SO GLAD WE DIDN'T! To say I was impressed is an understatement. The service was great, my "appetizer" shrimp tacos were outstanding (and very filling), and the prices were really reasonable. Don't let the exterior fool you, Shorty's is a gem, and we hope to return again and again!

Happy we found this spot after visiting the Flight 93 Memorial. Try the mushroom swiss burger. You won't be disappointed.
