Mercy Medical Center Emergency Room

Had to visit the ER twice in one day and both days everyone was exceptional. The doctors were so knowledgeable about everything on my chart and my diagnoses. They knew exactly what to look for and be cautious of. I even had an episode after coming home and called them and was able to speak with my treating physician and she was able to direct me which medications to take to calm down the problem.
I cannot express how grateful I am for such caring people!

I went in for severe abdominal pain and they did what they could to try to figure it out (but we didn’t) even so the experience was very nice! I went in on a Friday night and was expecting to be there over 6 hours and was only there for about 3 which was nice. My nurses Taryn and I forgot the others name (I’m so sorry) were a big help and made me feel very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and am definitely going back if I’m ever in an emergency again!

The nurses are so nice & so caring. My fiance has had to come here multiple times &they always treat her so good & make her feel like a actual person. My son will go here in case of emergency

As a parent to a child with autism who was seen today i can’t say enough great things about every staff member we had contact with. They were kind,understanding,patient. They were so good about making my son feel comfortable even though they knew he was so scared. We appreciate going to places that have awareness and show so much compassion

Always gets me in and out quickly. Usually hour and a half max. Always listens to my concerns about my self and my child. I've come here at my last straw many times super thankful for this emergency department.

Through the years, I've never known anyone to have a bad experience at Mercy in Cedar Rapids, IA. I was there two weeks for a major surgery and couldn't have been treated better anywhere else, I highly recommend them.

The doctor who saw me was very kind and considerate. The nurses were also very kind. I'm very pleased with my visit here.
