I had been in the process of trying to find a mechanic/shop to install coil overs on my 2019 GTI for quite some time. I stumbled upon David’s services and I’m very happy I did! David was responsive, helpful and professional throughout the entire exchange. Couldn’t be happier with the way my car feels and looks now, and I will absolutely be coming back to David if I need any help in the future. He drilled out a broken stud out on an engine head at a weird angle and got another stud out of a turbo exhaust manifold (junkyard engine…. What was I thinking????).

Air conditioner was not working on Tahoe, gave him a call and we got quick response.
He came over to where the car was located, performed inspection and found the problem right away! He gave us multiple options which allowed us to save time and money. Once the parts arrived, he came and performed the work in a clean and timely manner! Now the AC is running ice cold🥶🥶! While working on the car, he went the extra step and check all fluids level and made sure that there wasn’t anything else that needed immediate attention. 5 out of 5 service! Call him right away if you’re having any car issues!!!

Two days before selling an old car it decided not to start. It had started instantly for the four years I'd had it, but I figured out it wasn't getting any gas as I couldn't hear the fuel pump running. After doing all the checks that I could I called David. He traced the problem with this neat portable 12 volt energizer from the fuel pump, through all of the wiring, the fuse box, and then back to the ignition switch which turned to be the problem. He did a great job for a very reasonable price and will be using him again. I highly recommend him!

Dave was really great to work with on 2 different vehicles at my home. He was able to figure out a very odd issue I was having with my foreign made car and saved me the hassle/cost of a dealership.

Mechanic was knowledgeable about 1999 GMC emergency brakes and serviced the rear calipers. Good communication skills and critical follow up when an adjustment was needed days later. David diagnosed power steering issues on 2000 Corolla. Scanlan's Auto repair is convenient and a good value for keeping our 20 year old jalopies safe and on the road.

I can’t say enough what a positive experience we had with David! He was able to diagnose and fix my issue in one day - AND he gave me options to save me on total cost. We have a baby and the idea of towing, diagnosing, and everything that went with that had me so overwhelmed. I’m so grateful he was able to just come to the house and have me back on the road! I let my car sit for about 3 years after being told by another mechanic that my transmission was shot; not wanting to shell out the money for a transmission repair. I decided to get a second opinion and that’s when I found David! He diagnosed my car with a completely different (and less expensive) issue. He is very very knowledgeable with cars, and bent over backward to find me a part that had been discontinued for the car. He updated me every step of the way, and fixed the issue at hand. I know if I had gone anywhere else they would have tried to rob me blind. I am very happy with the outcome of the repairs, and the cost to get it all done. The best part is, David traveled to where the car was sitting, on a friends farm, and went out on several occasions to work on it. From now on, he will be my go-to guy. You won’t be disappointed!

David is very knowledgeable, down to earth and honest. I have 3 older, high mileage cars that have been sitting for over 2 years due to the pandemic. I asked David to come help look them over so I could get them ready for private sale. Within 90 minutes, he had all 3 cars running, diagnosed with a code reader, jacked up to inspect wheels, tires and suspension, and had given me a thorough review of everything he saw that needed to be addressed with the vehicles. The convenience of him being able to do all of this in your driveway is incredible.

After two bad experiences with the Audi dealership, I called David and I am so glad I did. David came the very same morning to our house, found the issue/ordered parts, and the car was fixed in no time (also at our house). He is friendly, highly-trained, upfront about expected costs, and he kept us in the loop the entire time. Besides the fact that David was so great to work with, I just love the idea of this business model. It was so convenient to have a mechanic come to our house.

David is honest and very knowledgeable. For his age, he has experience of someone being in the business over 20 years. Had a Lincoln navigator had $3000.00 estimated work from Ford, David fixed it costing $500.00. That is real value and honesty. You won't regret using him. I have 5 vehicles, I found a new mechanic!!

There should be more than 5 stars! David is the best! He is thorough and explains what he has to do and why. We have used him for repairs, maintenance and body work on our Maserati, Ram truck, and Nissan SUV. And to top off the great service.... he does it at your house... or job if that's allowed. His prices are very reasonable! We have no complaints!

My 2014 Jeep Compass now has a longer life because of the work David completed on my car! Within days, David inspected, quoted, received parts and completed the work on my car. There was no need to wait in a line or in a stuffy waiting room, but instead I was able to hand over my keys, and they were returned with my car to my own home. From working on extremely exclusive to everyday cars - David can do it all. From a simple oil change to replacing my power steering, I will only bring my car to him now!

Fantastic same day service and individual. David is very knowledgeable and down to earth. He diagnosed and fixed our pathfinder which wasn’t able to run within 2 hours! 10/10 best mechanic around!

David did a great job installing a carbon fiber trunk on my Mustang that another big body shop in the area wouldn't even attempt. He's a great person to go to for unique jobs and did quality work at a reasonable price. I will definitely go back to him in the future should I need custom work.

David came to my house and practically rebuilt my classic VW Bug! He takes the time to go over your car to make sure it's perfect. His can do approach and the quality of his workmanship is impeccable. Highly recommend him to work on anything with a motor!
