We were blessed to find Baker’s Learning Kitchen! My son went to them with a failing grade in Precalculus, they helped him finish with a strong B! His tutors were excellent, professional and made him feel very comfortable. They are running a top notch operation. We plan to use them again to boost his ACT scores. I highly recommend them; you won’t find better!!!!!

Was in need of online tutoring for my daughter who was having a hard time with Pre-calculus. Baker’s Learning Kitchen was able to accommodate both in-person and virtual tutoring sessions to ensure that adequate time and support was being provided to assist with helping my daughter better understand. I took my ACT prep here. When I took the preACT, I wasn’t projected to get more than a 27. I took the ACT for the first time after taking this course and ended up with a 29. On the second attempt, I got a 31. The course was very informative and the teachers were very helpful. I felt comfortable asking questions because they created an environment where you didn’t feel lesser for not knowing something. I feel this course created a lot of opportunities for me in terms of college acceptance and scholarship, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking to take the ACT!

Baker’s Learning Kitchen has been great for my son. My son is an athlete in the (10) th grade and his schedule is constantly changing due to updated practice schedules. BLK has been very flexible in supporting his academic needs. Of particular note: The impromptu tutoring sessions prior to an exam have paid off big time for my son, thanks to BLK.

Baker’s Learning Kitchen is a wonderful place for ACT prep! The staff is attentive, supportive and compassionate. My son was challenged in reading, from a comprehension perspective. He could read words but wasn’t comprehending what he read. I reached out to BLK, expressed my concerns and they recommended a tutoring solution to get my son on track. The tutor assigned to my son was patient, empathetic, professional, prompt and personable. My son enjoyed the sessions and I’m proud to say that he went from reading on a 1st grade level to reading on his grade level and beyond. His test scores improved AND tested above average! Woohoo! We were so concerned that his reading challenge would hold him back from being promoted due to Alabama’s Literacy Law, but Baker’s Learning Kitchen saved the day! I highly recommend!!!!

We had tried some others before being recommended to BLK, and only here did we receive personalized service for my son’s needs. My daughter was recently a participant in a Summer Camp at Baker's Learning Kitchen. She really learned a lot and enjoyed the camp as well. Ashlyn did a great job of tutoring her. She looked forward to going to the camp each day. I highly recommend Baker's Learning Kitchen. They do a great job !

My main objective was to find a summer program that would keep my son refreshed and also provide him a challenge to prepare him for the upcoming school year. Bakers Learning Kitchen was able to offer that plus more. He attended several sessions and had the pleasure of working with different tutors whom were all very knowledgeable and patient. I've used Baker's Learning Kitchen to help my 7-year-old with 3rd grade math. Her favorite tutor was Ms. Ashlyn. With Ms. Ashlyn, Lyric didn't want to miss a tutoring session even if she didn't have any homework. After using BLK, my daughter went from below grade level to at grade level and increased her math test scores by 50 pts.

Mrs. Baker is an AMAZING teacher and tutor. She has the ability to help student understand extremely complex content in the most simplistic way.
