The Learning Team—Grove Academy

Working with Grove Academy has been a wonderful experience. We live in Florence and my daughter had to travel a few times but after that Ashley was so accommodating to do her tutoring via Zoom calls. She went for ACT tutoring and was able to raise her score but gained so much more than just ACT test taking skills. Ashley taught her important test-taking skills as well as critical thinking skills that she will be able to use in College and beyond. This place is more that just a place to learn how to take the ACT!! Thank you Ashley for all you have done!

Ashlee has been my tutor since my sophomore year of high school and she has helped me beyond my grades. She was the first to notice I was having trouble focusing, and recommended ADHD testing that allowed me to get accommodations at school. She also grew my confidence in the classroom and helped me learn that taking more time to learn isn’t a bad thing. Ashlee also helped my ACT score more than any class could have!! Having her analyze how I work best allowed her to give me the one on one help I needed to develop test taking strategies!! I would recommend Ashlee - or any of her tutors - to anyone who is struggling with grades, test taking, and more.

My daughter went to Lori this past summer for ACT tutoring. She’d taken the ACT a few times before but wasn’t happy with her scores (which were decent in my opinion). Lori was able to help her raise her score by 3 points. She felt comfortable with Lori and appreciated her encouragement and suggestions. We both highly recommend her for ACT tutoring!

I don't have words to adequately describe all that Ashlee and her team have done for my daughter. First there are the "measurables"--high GPA and a 9 point increase in ACT score. Ashlee Grove has helped me improve my grades and test scores tremendously! I was struggling my freshman year, but when I started meeting with Ashlee my grades skyrocketed. We were referred to Ashlee Grove & Associates by a friend after both of our girls expressed concern that they felt a little weak and needed improvement in their essay writing skills. We started out with them both receiving English tutoring and then going on to ACT Prep, Chemistry and one on one Academic coaching. Ashlee and her team have been wonderful working with our girls and us to make sure each tutor was a good fit and to make sure they were getting what they needed for success. Our girls have benefited tremendously and have enjoyed their time working with Ashlee and her team.

They are GREAT!!!! We just received my sons ACT score and he jumped five points on his composite score! We will probably sign on for another session to try and gain a few more points.

When he began his session, I was in awe of how easy it was for us/him. My payments were online and all he had to do was show up with a commitment to learn and study. They provided study guides, online materials including timed practice tests to help him prepare for the ACT. It was easy all the way around.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about his instructor, Lori. She was very helpful throughout the process with reminder texts, session follow up emails, and accommodating the occasional schedule conflict. She knows the students well and knows what’s best for them. She made her process and vision easy to understand which kept my son motivated to study her concepts, allowing him to make the progress! Great job Lori! So grateful for you.

Ashlee is an excellent tutor. She takes the time to get to know her students and uses her insights to tailor her instruction for each individual. She is gifted at explaining material from many angles which is very helpful for students who struggle with learning concepts using conventional methods. Ashlee also encourages her students to be organized, and she teaches them the importance of time management. She really is more than just a standard "tutor" for her students...she is a life coach and a cheerleader as well.

As demand for Ashlee's services has grown, she has responded by surrounding herself with professionals who have the same passion for helping students reach their personalized goals. She is meticulous about finding the best tutors for each subject, and she is in constant communication with them to monitor the progress of every student. North Alabama is very fortunate to have Ashlee Grove & Associates as a teaching resource. They have helped my three children immensely!

Ashlee has been tutoring my children who are attending Randolph High School. She came highly recommended by other Randolph parents and teachers as the go to person for one on one assistance. She takes the time to learn each student personally and academically, and uses that knowledge to adjust her teaching style to meet the needs of each individual student. Her support has helped to my children to improve their study skills, grades, and most importantly, self confidence. Ashlee is AMAZING!
