We have been purchasing minnows from local pet stores, and bait shops that are located in gas stations for our turtles to feed on. Today we made our first purchase of minnows at Busters.

They didn't painstakingly count the minnows, or handle them rough. We got twice the minnows that we usually get from the owners of the red dot indian stores.

I'll never go anywhere else.

They have a great selection of live bait! Bumping the bottom with a golden/bass shiner was very effective.

Best bait shop in Huntsville by far. Always 3 types of minnows, 2-3 types of worms, and crickets in stock. Best service, hands down. Need a rod tip replaced? Cabela's will send you here. The kids at academy don't even know. Need a custom sinker? Swivel dropshot? They made mine in a few minutes. Custom jig head? Same. Need to know what's biting and where, or what's not and where not? Local knowledge? They'll tell you. Used rods/reels, peg floats, locally made tackle, A-rigs, heck they even have cane poles. If you ask nicely you might even get a free sticker. And if you have the right bait they might even buy it off you. For personal use, of course.

These guys are always awesome. I have a reel that got tangled with braided line and I couldn't get it out. It took the gentleman a half hour or more and he had to wait on customers in between but he fixed it and didn't charge me a thing for labor.. I have been going here a while mostly for bait (which they have a great selection of) but this was my first service request and it was great!

My daughter works there and actually that's where she meat her 1st love to which they both work there! With there two loay 🐕.I personal feel as if I'm at home every time I come and visit I've even seen many people come in and do the same, most knows each other's 1st names. It reminds me of Lewters Hardware atmosphere they have what you need and even makes there own weights and fishing hooks. This place is here to stay.

Busters has everything you need when it comes to catching almost any type fish. I live in Guntersville Alabama and drive all the way to Busters because they are the ONLY store around that has the types of flies and jigs i use. Not only that but they have great prices and great customer service. Very helpful when salespeople actually know about fishing unlike the young kids working in big retail stores that have no clue of what a chatterbait is. " True story". Thanks for the great service. Great selection of anything fishing related. Can't say enough about the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. No other place to buy fishing supplies except here. Skip Walmart and head straight here and help out a local business in the process of getting great deals!

I'm new to the area and was glad to find a local bait and tackle shop. I was able to find some square bill cranks I had been looking for and was happy to see they have live minnows, craws and crickets that I will be returning for when I take the kiddos fishing.
