Love Dr. Walker and his staff. So friendly and helpful. Don't know what I would do without their help. Dr. Walker is so attentive and helps you make the right decisions moving forward in your care. He also shows you printed photos to take home, and shows you where the problem areas are, if any. I'm so happy I was sent to him 6+ years ago. I can't say enough about them. Thank you all for caring so deeply.

I highly recommend Dr Walker and his staff. Everyone made , and still makes me feel welcome and well taken care of. I could not recommend a better Dr./ surgeon to care of anyone with problems of the hand. Thank you for taking good care of me in the past and my upcoming procedure.

I enjoy meeting Doctor Walker. He was friendly. He found out what problem I was having, checked the x-rays and test then explain what he found and possible causes. he then explained options and that it could heal itself with a brace. Which i was all for and if not surgery. He told me what they would do and how it would effect me. I enjoy his approach and made me feel good about what he wanted to try first.

I was greeted with a very sincere group of nurses & Dr. I appreciate the responsiveness. So far everything is moving in the right direction with surgery to get my left hand back in working order .My right hand had the same surgery a few months ago and I healed and am doing great! Thanks to Dr.Walker and his wonderful team.

Dr. Walker and his staff are a perfect part of SportsMed! Last month I had carpal tunnel release surgery from Dr. Walker. The process of diagnosis to surgery were phenomenal. I know they do these surgeries many times a week, but I did not feel like "just another patient" at any point. Each person treated me as a valued patient and customer. Tanya Staats is a superstar on the team! My hand is healing up very well and I look forward to less pain with my hand soon. Thank you Dr. Walker and team for the BEST care you provided!!!!

Dr. Walker is very caring, and he has recommended the least aggressive treatment for the arthritis in my left thumb joint. Hoping the OT will ease the pain I’m experiencing in my hand. Highly recommend him.

Dr. Walker is so awesome!! Was like night and day from my previous physician. He was very thorough in his review and explained everything so well. His plan was totally different for me. Doing PT for month to see if finger and knuckles loosen up and if that doesn't work surgery later in fall, but doesn't sound as drastic as previous physician mentioned. I cried afterwards it made me so happy.Thank you so much.

Needing medical treatment can be very stressful. The facility, staff and Dr. Walker all made my visit as stress free as possible. Everyone was kind, helpful and respectful. Dr Walker was kind, patient and thorough. Thank you each and everyone.
Adding to this review:
I returned for follow-up with Dr. Walker earlier this month. My issues were with my dominant right hand. I was reluctant to undergo a procedure that would limit my ability to use my hand but the condition was getting worse. Dr. Walker listened patiently to my concerns, he offered a modified/conservative plan of treatment that addressed my problems and considered my personal situation and needs. He explained the condition and process thoroughly and answered my questions.
My thanks to Dr. Walker, Regina, Mona, and everyone for their kind consideration in preparing for surgery, undergoing surgery and recovering from it.
The surgery went well (the surgery center folks were exceptional) and I am now free of the pre-surgery symptoms and getting back to full use of my hand.
Dr. Walker and staff are due appreciation for treating me as a valuable person, worthy of careful, thoughtful, and effective care.
Thank you! Thank you!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Walker’s for a long time. I have Adrenalin issues so I’m kind of a repeat costumer with a few of the doctors over at Sports Med. Dr. Walker has always came through for me when I’ve messed up my hands and I have done some damage to them. The joint in my thumb that had to be fused when I completely destroyed it when I crashed one of my sport bikes. Never bothers and I don’t even notice it’s fused. He does a great jobs of managing some arthritis that’s popping up due to some other damage also due to sudden very rapid deceleration events on sport bikes. Him and his staff are super friendly and educate you on what is going on your hands so that the two of you can plan the best treatment plan that will hopefully avoid a painful surgery with the dreaded recovery time. I’ve been through a lot of those so I know it’s best to avoid if possible.

I'm a dentist with an annoying trigger finger, so I saw Dr Walker yesterday to see what could be done. He is super friendly and explained what's going on with the finger, how he treats it with cortisone injections. Surgery being last resort. I had always heard cortisone injections were quite painful, but he has a brilliant technique where he gets it numb first and I didn't even feel the cortisone going in. One day later and my finger is already improving, and no interference with my work. I had tried home remedies and now wish I had seen Dr Walker sooner!

My experience with Dr. John Walker is just beginning, and it is an excellent beginning. I had one meeting with him for an examination. He is very personable, patient, understanding, informative, and seeks to put you at ease while he tells you the truthful details about your condition and prognosis. A nurse who is a good friend of ours says he is excellent. I will be seeing him again, but I am sure that my opinion will remain the same. I strongly recommend him.

As always the care given by Dr Walker and his staff its top notch. He has done surguries on me fro over 23 years and has always had my best i trest in mind when the military did not…and this visit was not less than perfect. The nurse’s consern for comfort and pain reduction was great. Much better than that of the team at TOC which is owned by HH. The administrative process of checkin and payment and checkout / followup was smooth as silk.
Thanks Sports Med!

Dr. Walker listened to me and didn't want to rush to drastic measures, which was appreciated. Hopefully my issue will go away and not return just with the action he took yesterday. It already feels 90% better.

Dr.Walker was attentive and quick to get to a diagnosis for my wrist issue. Office is clean and well run but busy so prepare to wait a bit past your appointment time.
