Staff were really kind and he did a good job with me. The only downside was they called in my prescriptions to the wrong pharmacy.

Dr. Maddox is nice, but professional. He has a "laid back" personality. He did surgery on my wrist for arthritis.It was Trapezial Carpectomy with Tendon Transfer. (prob. need to google it) surgery. It was a pretty rough surgery. Dr. Maddox did a good job. I followed his instructions, and recovery was good. In a few months I developed "triger finger" in my thumb on that wrist. He put a shot in my hand, and it helped. I still don't have "normal" use of my wrist. I probably should have done more at home therapy. I would trust him to do surgery again. I really like his nurse, Debra. She is so sweet, and kind. I recommend Dr. Maddox to anyone needing surgery of the hand/wrist.

Dr. Maddox is wonderful. He was very detailed and patient with me as I asked questions. He explained everything in detail. I am so glad I was referred to him.

The person who read my MRI from another place said everything was fine. I asked to be referred to a ortho and Dr. Maddox was the one I was referred to. I had never been to a doctor in Huntsville and was nervous about it. He looked at my MRI and said you was.told your MRI was fine. He sent me for a x-ray while he called and spoke with someone about my MRI. He came back in the room and told me that the top part of my shoulder bone was died and I needed a replacement surgery. In two weeks I had the surgery and had started my PT. I would recommend him to the ones I love most and anyone that needs surgery. I was in today for a check up for my shoulder and asked him about my knee. He didn't hesitate a second and sent me for a x-ray, looked at it and his office is setting me up for a MRI. Dr. Maddox is an amazing person and doctor. If you are looking for an Ortho doctor he would be an amazing choice.

Dr. Maddox and his staff really are on top in my book. I got there a bit early and signed in and sat down in the waiting room. About five minutes later a young lady came out and started asking patients their names and what doctor they were there to see. She reassured me I’d be called shortly to see the doctor soon. I was called back in about ten minutes, taken to my room and then down to x-ray. What enthusiasm from that gal and funny. Saw Dr. Maddox shortly there after with kindness and reassured my treatment was feasible. His bed side manner is excellent and he takes the time to answer your questions. Before I knew it I was on my way home and happy with my prognosis. Thanks Dr. Maddox and to wonderful staff.

Dr. Maddox has the widely acknowledged reputation as being among the best of the best. My experience as one of his patients has been exeptional. He and his staff work as a very efficient team to make patients feel like a customer. My complex wrist surgery was a complete success to correct an injury that had limited my utility of my dominant hand.
