Captain D's

Absolutely phenomenal experience at Captain D's! The seafood was fresh, delicious, and perfectly cooked. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring our dining experience was top-notch. The restaurant was clean and inviting, making it a perfect spot for both family dinners and quick bites. The variety on the menu catered to all tastes, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality provided. Captain D's has definitely earned its place as our go-to seafood restaurant. Highly recommend!

We order our 2 grands the kids meal chicken strips, my wife had two piece fish, fries and okra our 4 Year old enjoyed the fried okay. I had the 3 piece fish, fries and slaw the staff on University had our dinners fresh and delicious. Keep it up right by SAMS !!!

Food was really good. The cashier was very nice and helpful! She recommended a shrimp deal that was much cheaper than what I was originally wanting. So saved me some money!! 💵💵💰💰 I got the catfish, popcorn shrimp, seafood gumbo, and fried pickles (yummy), with broccoli 🥦 and green beans 🫛 on the side. It was delicious!! I recommend this Captain D's! They have pretty fast service and good food.

Tonight was the best service at a fast food restaurant my wife and I have had in along time. The food was great. The front cashier came out to the table check on my wife and I asking did we need refills are any extra Tarter Sauce she even asked did we want to purchase the new cheesecake or piece of pecan pie. And of course we order the pie. But overall the service and attitude of that young lady is better then any place we have ever visited out here. We are looking to come back at least once a week!! Thank you all for everything you all do!!!!

Very good fish, hot and fast.

Ok I've eaten alot of captain D's over the years and today's visit was the best ever for me. The one on university drive. Food was excellent and cooked PERFECT!! Friendly ladies at the window and I don't have one single negative thing to say about today's experience. Great job ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

So I usually do not get fast food. I was In a hurry and it was about 9:30 close to closing and I was dreading the customer service because it's usually horrible lately everywhere like people hate there jobs and worse when it's the end of shift. But long story short I believe it was the manager on duty that night was decently handling businesswith her crew and customers. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I never write reviews but this one deserves a pat on the back and a raise for her hard work and great customer service . Thank you lady manager withe red tipped hair!!!

We go at least once a month or so when were near there food is really good and staff is excellent they have a good selection of items on the menu for those that don't want fried too. And they're usually pretty quick with your order. Glad to see they've added battered chicken now as well now too.

I had to drive to the University location as the one on N Parkway isn’t opened yet but IMG, everything was hit, fresh and correct!!

This was my favorite fast food place to eat when I lived in NW Huntsville from 2002-2014. The food was reasonably priced, always fresh, and they never stinted on the condiments. The serving ladies were always pleasant. The only bad thing I had in all those years was stuffed crab that was REALLY overcooked.

Went through the drive thru and expected to wait awhile for a large order. It took only a few minutes, the food was hot and fresh, and the people were pleasant.

She was very courteous and polite .. The one that brought food outside to our car was very friendly, and apologentic about our wait time however we waited maybe 2- 4 minutes at the most. Both girls should get some kinda of recognition for there very good. Hospitality Thank you

Honestly I feel like you have to catch this Captain D's at a certain time to be able to get good service and fresh food. I've had two good experiences and too horrible experiences

The food here is always good! The employees in the front have always been helpful and nice. I bit into a piece of chicken and it was cold and old and rather than getting defensive about it they just made me more and apologized. An attitude like that goes a long way with me. There aren't many things that makes me angrier than when an employee acts like its your fault your food is wrong/bad!

Really have had several great experiences here. The food has always been on point. Fresh and good to say the least. Highly recommend this restaurant

Ppl were very friendly, helpful & polite! Food was hot & fresh- fish & chicken tenders, hush puppies & French fries were excellent...my 6 yr old granddaughter, when asked about the Mac & cheese, replied that it Tasted like Mac & Cheese!!

Just went through the drive through. I wish I had gotten the workers name. But anyway whoever was working the drive through was very kind and definitely a keeper. She even double checked our order to make sure it was right. She is the bomb dot com. Also the food was hot and fresh:)

This is the third time I've eaten at a captain D's in a month. The food is great. For 5 years i wouldn't eat there bcz the food was soggy and not tasty. And it seams that they are BACK the food tasted like I wanted it to. Each trip I have been shocked, but pleased

The catfish was made to order as were the hush puppies and the okra. It was all good, fresh, and hot. The coleslaw was tasty too. The customer was good as well. The young lady helped decide what to order since we were from out of town and it was our first time there.
