I would recommend General Surgery Associates to anyone that needs surgery. I have been seen in the Huntsville office and the Madison office. The staff at both offices are very professional and kind. They made sure I had all the information and everything I needed prior to surgery. Dr. Sheppard was my surgeon, which was wonderful! You can read my review of him separately. After my surgery, his nurse removed my drains a week later. She was so easy and careful when she did it, I barely felt it. I also think the doctors work well together and with all of the staff. I would highly recommend General Surgery Associates if you need a surgeon. They are the best!

I I usually do not do reviews, But today I do feel the need to do one. I have been under the care of Dr. Boyette for five years now. When I first went to him five years ago to talk to him about having the gastric sleeve surgery. I was new to the area, I did not have a doctor here. He held my hand the whole way through. He told me I would need a doctor and he recommended his own. By the way, he is still my doctor. This usually works out for me because they both talk and care is expedited when I need it to be . He has a great bedside manner and you can tell he is very caring. I would wholeheartedly, recommend him and his staff. They have been very good to me the time that I have been there.

Dr Wiles has performed 2 surgeries for me, and my experience has been excellent. The office staff has also been great in my experience.

This is such a clean, friendly clinic! Staff are super helpful and they create a great environment. I plan to recommend this clinic often, especially Dr. Daniel Boyett!
I needed a procedure done which he took the time to explain both at the consult visit and the morning of surgery. Wonderful bedside manner and I feel that he really cares. If I ever need surgery again in the future (hopefully I won't, Lord willing), I will definitely be asking for this clinic!

Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Scheduling the appointment with Jada was a very smooth process and she could not have been more helpful. Dr. Wilson's bedside manner and willingness to explain things in a way we understood was top notch. Scheduling our procedure with Dawn was a breeze. I cannot recommend them enough.

Dr. Wiles has some of the best bedside manner that I have ever experienced with a physician. I was super nervous about getting surgery and he took the time to explain everything in detail to help me feel more confident about the procedure. I was given the proper medications to help with pain management, my only issue and it wasn’t his fault at all is that with nausea I should’ve been given anti-nausea tablets to dissolve under the tongue or a suppository since I was vomiting a lot post surgery. However, everyone is different and it’s hard to predict how people will react to anesthesia. The after hours doctor Dr. Boyett was quick to return my call and took time out of his evening to work with my Pharmacist to get my nausea under control. It’s rare finding dedicated medical staff these days, and I feel like I was blessed with an outstanding team. I hope I won’t need surgery again, but if I do I will use General Surgery Associates.

Treated me on something as one sided not two sided. They went with whatever they felt and didn’t take the time to see my view of it and as I walked out they followed me like I was a criminal or doing the walk of same . This was the manager . And I personally know one or two people there definitely one who loves the drama wish this office knew what I knew or they wouldn’t be there... that’s all

It started as a good experience here but after being told I wouldn't need anesthesia, the day or the surgery they changed their mind (money grab) and post surgery Dr Jong took my stitches out 6 days later and the incision is still fully open. He said he was going to put steri strips on to help but he never did. Go anywhere else but here.

Had surgery 1 week ago. Granted the following week we have had bad weather. Not 1 follow up call, no follow up appointments. Have had to page on call doctors more than once. Ended up a trip to the ER, having an abcess, no pain management or antibiotics. My veterinarian clinic does a better job with my pets.

I did appreciate that Dr Wiles did such a good job of explaining the surgery beforehand, but post-surgery was a bit of a nightmare. It was supposed to be a super easy recovery (from my own understanding) but some issues that came up were not appropriately addressed by his nurse when I’d call and email. I was concerned after my incision opened up significantly, she didn’t appear to take those concerns seriously, and now several months later I feel pretty confident in saying that it didn’t heal the way it should have- I’m still dealing with some related issues due to the scarring etc.

Surgery was fine, but the follow-up and dealing with billing was a nightmare. General Surgery and Dr. Ghanta will add charges after the surgery date. Once contacted by insurance for submitting codes that weren't done they are quick to revert some of the charges. Avoid this group if possible, dealing with everything after the fact is an absolute nightmare.

Was told they would accept my insurance but was lied to and billed for full office visit anyway.
No explanation given.
Spent 7 months to fix billing issue which was their fault to begin with, all to be told that they won't see me.
I will tell everyone not to see Dr. Daniel Boyett. 😡
