I visited Dr. Jaleel yesterday. Actually, it was my 3rd time seeing her for about 3 years in total. Dr. Jaleel is a very kind and caring person. She’s very thorough in her examination and is a great listener when it comes to you trying to explain the craziness that you may be experiencing in your body.

I’ve had fibromyalgia (chronically) since I was 27 years old, and I am now about to turn 54. However, my body started behaving very differently than your normal “fibromyalgia” symptoms and problems. I’ve been to so many doctors and none of them can tell me what’s going on or why I’m experiencing all of these other horrible symptoms that have taken over my life.

Yesterday, I just broke down and cried in front of Dr. Jaleel, which was so very embarrassing. I’m basically at my wits end and she assured me that she would help me find out what’s happening with me and that these other symptoms were definitely NOT fibromyalgia. You can tell by her demeanor that she truly means that and that she’ll do all she can to help her patients live the best life they can.

I’m very thankful that my primary doctor recommended Dr. Jaleel at Rheumatology Associates of North Alabama. Honestly, everyone there, from the front desk Check-in, to Dr. Jaleel’s nurse and the people in the lab and Check-out, were super nice, friendly and helpful. I am actually looking forward to my next visit, as strangely as that may sound. Go and see them. You’ll be so glad you did.
