Sometimes I refrain from leaving feedback because if done to quickly, the result/condition might not be resolved. Sixteen months ago Dr. Detwiler resolved my hemorrhoid issue. Because of the obvious issue, it's bad enough. I'm in a wheelchair and imagine sitting on them all day for over 20 years. Ouch! I called from a referral and was seen the next day in his office. After my wife, his assistant and himself lifted me from my wheelchair to the examining table (I'm not real heavy so I'm sure this isn't a normal occurrence) he did the examination. He briefly stated the obvious and recommended banding should resolve the issue (he did say not always the case). He said he could perform the banding right their and then (again I'm not sure if this was standard practice)? I was delighted and in less than 10 minutes the bands were all attached. I came back in 7-10 days for a follow-up and everything was GOOD. It's still GOOD today! I understand different people have different hemorrhoid locations and issues, but I felt and still today feel absolutely grateful for how quick it was resolved and the blessing to not have any issues 16 months later. Dr.Detailed saved my life! He is truly someone God has created to help people suffering from terrible things. Had another doctor worked on me that day, I would have a klegastomy bag. He took an extra 2 1/2 hours to make sure I wouldn't have to live my life with one. Thank you Doctor Detwiler!
