Damn these caramel apples are frickin good! I haven't tried them all but this is the place for me. The woman working the caramel apple section is super nice and friendly. Go Packs go!

Super cool place!! The map of all the different farms and places are so amazing! Worth the trip up there.

Wow! Our first experience at Apple Hill. Had looked ahead to make sure to stop at the best spots and do all the favorites. First stop was Abel's Apple Acres #38! Best apple donuts and apple butter! Grabbed a few dozens, some apple fritters, apple crisp with ice cream, apple strodle, caremel, and a few souvenirs (wood pumpkin ornament & red apple dude plush 🍎)!
We hung out and pet the horses too.

I have been going there for 20+ years, love this place. I know take my grown family and granddaughter. Love the food and all the candied apples; apple pie apple is my favorite. Love taking pictures with all the cut outs, running around the maze and horse rides. We always have a great time at Abel’s.

Placerville, CA. Our favorite stop in Apple Hill for its bustling cheerful shop, great food, horses, maze, local vendors, unique candied apples (Butterbeer Candied Apples were a hit today), fudge, all kinds of apple baked goods, apple butter, toys and souvenirs. And freshly picked apples.

Today we got lunch there and when we smelled the chili dog as we passed someone eating one we had to have one. And it was great!!! We also smelled the apple pie baking and got a slice. I got the chicken salad with apples in it on top of spring mix, shredded carrots, walnuts, dried cranberries, cherry tomatoes, mandarin oranges, green olives and snap peas. Everything was extra delicious in the cool autumn air.

Speaking of fragrances that make your mouth water, when they take the pies out of the oven oh my Lord you can smell the butter, cinnamon, fresh apples and the loooove!

Just a great place that puts every visitor we saw in a good mood.

Absolutely adorable. Plenty of parking, Food, vendors, pizza, pies, caramel apples, and so much more. Fun things for the kids, plenty of seating, covered and uncovered.

I love this place. Treat yourself with my favorite Caramel pecan Apple pie, the best!! and more yummy sweets!! Friendly staff, very clean & well maintained place. Very nice and relaxing atmosphere. Patio dining, little unique boutiques around and cute animals. I highly recommend!

A classic Apple Hill stop. I'm filling in as the face painter for 3 weekends here this year (first 3 weekends in Oct. 2023. Usually I'm at ElDorado Orchards next to the train) ... and Abel's also has a maze, rock hounding, horses to look at, lots of vendors and lots of pies, donuts and favorite apple products. One child mentioned a petting zoo but it was unclear if that was at Abels or a nearby farm. Apple Hill is an area of many farms that people drive around and stop at several in a day. I used to bring my kids here to Abel's when they were young. It was a favorite spot for them. Now they also have individual yurts to sit and eat in in case of bad weather. It rained a little last weekend so less people than expected so no lines.

First time here… came to Boa Vista at first but, after seeing the line thoughts were it’s a bit overrated 😅 so… here at Abel’s we thought they have better food/lunch to offer and donuts 🍩 are actually 😋yummier and can not wait to have the Caramel Apple Pie 🥧 for thanksgiving.

This is my favorite place in ( APPLE HILL) for apple fun but also the shredded pork tacos. Oh my! If I could give them 10 stars I would. They use Parmesan cheese on the taco shells which today they were fried flour tortillas. The ingredients are so fresh and so good.

Love the amount of vendors, the horses and gem mining are wonderful experiences. Great choices in the main store from the local orchards as well

The food was delicious. Got the hog fries, with is pulled pork on top of fries and also got tri tip plate. Each was so good. Bought a few things in the shop and can't wait to use them at home

Very nice cozy store.. The food was very disappointing.. But the customer service was great.. I think the young lady's name was brandy she was very very nice.. But if it was me again I would not eat the food.. It's just not fresh.. I would love to run that restaurant.. Is l o l

Daughter wanted to visit apple Hill for her birthday. She really wanted to go run the maze here at Abel's and get some apple donuts. Definitely with the trip.

The owner was so friendly!! He personally helped us check out, and was really sweet and friendly with my kids. I was very happy they are still open, everyone there was wearing a mask, and all of the doors are open so there was a lot of airflow. I was hesitant to go, but this place really did make me feel secure and unworried. And of course, they have amazing caramel apples, pies, and cider!

The best variety of caramel apples are located at Abel's Apple Acres. I've been to all the orchards and these ones have the perfect caramel to topping ratio. Apple Hill is a great date spot. Take one car and stop at all the different orchards. It's a great way to spend a weekend date. IG: SACRAMENTOHONEY

A really neat place!! People were friendly great little town!! Will be returning there!! Great shop to stop at on way home and up to apple hill. Only thing was their water was shut off for the mining experience.i was a little disappointed in that part..

Had an amazing time once again....spent more then I was suppose to😜.....come on now who do you know that spends $60 on Fudge alone lol (its in my freezer minus 6 pieces) what can I say I love fudge and The Fudge Factory is this cute little shop☺

Enjoyed some awesome Apple Pecan pie! Abel's Acres is a fun stop that offers lots of tasty treats - all sorts of caramel apples, fudge, even pizza, apple dumplings, and of course pie! They also offer pony rides for kids and have some craft booths to shop at.
