AC Towing

I had a complicated Towing project that involved a boat on a trailer that had been hit by a drunk driver. Three other tow companies failed me when it came to removing the boat and getting it to the dealer for inspection. AC was able to get the job done in a completely straightforward, safe and financially reasonable manner. I'm very appreciative for their willingness to do so. Don't hesitate to hire these guys, they have good equipment and obvious experience.

There are not enough good things to say about AC Towing but we will try!

Our motorhome broke down on a VERY windy and steep road in El Dorado County (2,000' drop in elevation over only a few miles). Treacherous is the best way to describe it as our power steering went out!!! We have had Good Sam for 5 1/2 years and have never needed them...until now. Not going to lie...it took GS more than a few hours to find a driver with a 50 ton rig but when they did, they found the best!!!

Enter AC Towing. Joe Stover, the epic and amazing driver, was the best thing to happen in our awful day!! Joe explained what was happening, how it would work...basically everything we needed to know to feel better about our rig getting towed away. Joe was warm, personable, professional, incredibly knowledgable, and just an all-around great guy! We were terrified, stressed, and really struggling through this...but Joe lightened our moods, made us laugh and literally took the worst experience and turned it into something much less painful. We are deeply grateful for Joe and AC Towing...and our rig is safe and sound at the repair shop now because of them!

They saved the Amazon man from a VERY SKETCHY situation on my property. Super nice knowledgeable guys- they made the right calls and took the necessary steps to get the job done right, no mistakes. In the end the Amazon truck drove off with barely a scratch, almost a miracle if you ask me.

We needed towing when our RV broke down while camping. We called so many towing companies and no one was willing to help us with the RV, except AC Towing! They were sooo helpful and had great customer service. They came to our rescue and towed our RV with ease. Thank you Leah for great customer service and thank you Paul for great towing service. We've got a fairly large & varied fleet of vehicles and equipment that we often need moved. We've used AC tow approximately 20 times since starting our business and could not be happier. They are prompt, fair on price and keep our business moving!

I had a mobile home towed onto my property on a driveway that i personally thought was impossible. They were able to get it done quick, and safe. If you need any sort of towing I would not think twice to give this guys a call. They are trained professionals and will get the job done in a safe manner. I was very happy with the service they provided and will definitely give them a call if I need any sort of towing in the future.

I have had to use AC Towing twice for emergency tows. The first incident required wenching a large truck that had crashed into a tree. Their response time was the fastest, and the office staff helped me coordinate the tow with many phone calls and text messages and I was made to feel like our emergency was their priority. In our second incident, our large truck towing a cargo trailer broke down on the side of the freeway in a hazardous area. Again the office staff was terrific, and the driver Nate risked his safety to navigate getting our truck and trailer hooked up and towed safely back to our yard. I will recommend this company to anyone with towing needs, and while I hope never to have to use towing, this is the first company I will call. Thank you!

If I could give 10 stars I would!! I wish more than anything I could remember the tow truck drivers name so I could give the credit to him, as he wasn’t even in his work clothes. The CHP had called him to do a favor since My husband had gotten our Uhual stuck halfway up the driveway to our new home and halfway blocking Sly Park RD. (Yes that was me that caused all of that traffic and I am seriously sorry and embarrassed. Lol)
But after having a really rough day, and needing a heavy duty tow truck to get us out of the road, he was nice enough to tell us to have a good day and wouldn’t accept payment. You have no idea how much that meant to us and I just wanted to say thanks again! It will never be forgotten and I will always recommend AC towing any time! THANK YOU FOR WELCOMING ME TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD!

Best owners around. The drivers are very very nice and friendly and make sure you're taken care of. They are timely and also care for your vehicle.

Best service I have ever had .

I have so bad experience with this company and recommend to all people never ever work or towing your car with that company.

Towing my truck to the he is yard and say don't worry we have mechanic to repair your truck.
Next day for 60 miles charge me 6000$
And And when I disagreed, they spoke to me very badly And they kept threatening me that they would not return the truk and call Amazon and report it.
They charged me an extra $3,000.
That $3,000 won't make them rich.
And it doesn't make me poor either.

Being human is important in human life.

And finally, I say that there is no honesty and integrity in this company.

I had the absolute WORST experience with this company. We hired them to offload a 40ft container off of a stepdeck trailer. They quoted $1200 to do the job. They were 6 hours late to the offloading site, and sent a bill for $2000 claiming the container was 80,000 lbs not, 30,000 lbs as mentioned when booking the service. Little did they know, the max weight that can go on this type of trailer is 48,000 lbs and the driver sent us the scale ticket for the load which stated the container was actually 29,400 lbs. After calling them out on their bluff that the container was not 80,000 lbs and was actually 29,400 lbs, I asked them to send an updated invoice for the quoted price, with the correct weight and they disappeared and never responded. 3 weeks later they called our office yelling obscenities and insulting our employees demanding if we did not pay the $2000 they would be putting a lien on the customers property. They also called the customer on multiple occasions yelling at her demanding she make payment for a service we were hired to complete for her. After reading this company’s reviews I can see that they have done this before and are complete scam artists. They are also extremely disrespectful, rude, and the things that came out of the owner’s (Jeremiah) mouth, is something I have never experienced. Save yourself the headache, the insults, and hire a professional company, that will charge you what was quoted and not $800 over the agreed upon rate. I have been doing this a long time and have never come across a shadier company than AC Towing. I truly hope they shut this operation down asap, before other people fall into their trap.

On Thursday, August 24th, 2023, My wife was in an accident on Golden Foothill Parkway in El dorado Hills, CA. The other driver was 100% at fault. CHP called this company to come out to the scene. My wife and 12 year old daughter had burns on their hands and arms from the air bags being deployed. The driver of the tow truck, bless him, tried to convince his boss over the phone that my wife was not responsible and should not be asked to pay for anything. The boss, however, felt that a five foot tall woman who was confused, disoriented, and scared should pay $240 because CHP called his company. I am at a loss for words at how despicable I find this decision on the part of the boss, taking advantage of someone who had just been in a car accident and whose focus was on the well being of our daughter and trying to even understand what had happened. Taking advantage of someone in a vulnerable position like that is abhorrent, and this boss lives in our community, I shudder to think of what other horrible things this person does to people in his personal life, if it is within his value system to take advantage of my wife the way he did. We reap what we sow, your actions will be revisited upon you, and I hope you learn from the lessons life has in store for you, god have mercy on you.

terrible attitude towards customers, no answers, got into an accident on the road, waited, they don’t answer, and the prices are high, communication with customers is disgusting, just terrible and not a company.

If I could give a NEGATIVE 5 OR 10 I would. Dealing with the SO CALLED OWNER was the WORST EXPERIENCE I've ever had. Her Driver LIED to us numerous times and she yelled and cussed at us in her office. She was very unprofessional from 1st contact. Please be aware of them if you have to deal with them. We had to because it was a CHP call out.
