Roberts Family Christmas Tree Farm

We came up to the area actually planning on visiting another tree farm nearby. They had a very busy season and had already sold out. Driving down the road a bit we found Roberts Tree Farm. We were pleasantly surprised by the ample parking, clean portable restrooms, and a beautiful grove to walk though. The grove is a mix of planned row trees and a touch of wild. My friend found a beautiful 8ft cedar and we found a noble fir. Prices are very agreeable and Robert is a very nice man who clearly cares about his grove. There are obviously many tree farms in the area, but we definitely enjoyed our time here today.

We've been going to Robert's Tree Farm since '96 (or so). The pricing CANNOT be beat-the most expensive tree is $40. While there are many trees from which to choose, be aware that they are marginally groomed and very natural in appearance (you'll be doing some pruning/trimming of branches). More work has happened in just the last couple of years to help create more appealingly shaped trees, but it will take another couple of years to make a difference. I love going there, enjoying the views & indulging in Apple Hill food.

I was looking for a place that we had gone in 2015, but could no longer find it. We settled for Robert's(hoping that it might be the one place, but it wasn't) My family and I had a great time. I assume it was Robert the one who met us, hand us a saw and told us we could look everywhere and cut any tree we wish. We did not felt rushed or pressure, took our time to find "our" perfect tree. Prices are really good, and a lot cheaper than other places around I would say. Yes maybe there aren't a lot of perfect evenly trees like the other places, but if you are there for the experience, making memmories for your children, and finding a pretty, decent and affordable tree, than this is it!!!

GREAT prices! After going to several other farms, we discovered lots of negatives- 2 farms had an $80 flat fee even if you wanted a small tree. One farm had a 6 foot minimum and prices were $10-$25 per foot.
We couldn’t believe the price here- $5 per foot no matter the size!
We had such a fun time wandering through the trees. It is a more wild feel at this farm but when you really enjoy hunting for a tree like we do it’s actually better that way. A great variety! It’s also very rare to find farms that still let you cut your own.
Also, free branches are available if you want to make wreaths.

This is the second year we have been to Robert's family Christmas tree farm to get our tree. Prices are reasonable. Everyone is always nice and friendly.

Such a nice tree farm and at the best prices in town! Their max price was $40 for 8ft+
The worker was incredibly nice and helpful and had a very cute puppy. I will definitely be coming back for years to come.

My friend has been coming here for 13 years with her family and recommended we go here to cut our first tree. I’m so glad we did!! We first went to Mace but ended up at Gilmore and found our tree there. I called the day before we went and asked what their hours were for a Monday (open!) and talked to Sharon. She was so nice, sweet, and friendly over the phone. Got to meet her when we came for our tree and she was just as lovely in person!!! Will recommend this place to everyone and will be back every year for our tree! Dog friendly! Don’t forget to sign the door! Thanks again for everything Sharon! See you next year! :)

The best place to cut your tree. We look forward to coming here every year. I think Christmas is for the birds but I love coming to Roberts.
