Best apple cider and apple donuts. Took my wife for her first time. Jeff loves food. Friendly duck. He's not aggressive, but he will hang out with you, hoping for some snacks. Cool vendors. Very friendly. Would go back for Jeff and some donuts.

High Hill is a great place to go if you want the “all in one” apple hill experience. They have great donuts, a solid lunch menu, and a ton to do for adults and kids on the large property.

They also have frozen pies to go, which are great to take home to friends.

Apple Hill is a must for day trips in the fall and High Hill Ranch is always on the list of stops. There are lots of activities such as pony rides and a fishing pond, so many vendors selling unique items, and a great variety of different foods! Does get crowded, so go early if that doesn't appeal to you. Wonderful for families including well behaved, leashed dogs.

My family had so much fun at high heel ranch. They have a pond that the whole family could fish in. They have tons of booths that you can buy stuff at lot of little places for photo ops opportunities and their apple fritters are amazing. Plenty of parking. Just a fun place to go to with the family.

Absolutely joyous experience!
Beautiful Countryside with pure natural environment!
The diverse orchards add another beauty to this area which really worth spending a day with family. Collecting fruits, walking in gardens and then taking a break under those tall trees sipping coffee is absolutely refreshing!
I liked the idea how amazing playground they've made for kids.

It was my first time visiting Apple Hill and it didn't disappoint. The location is surrounded by the beautiful scenery, pine trees galore and mountains in the distance.
Its an outdoors kind of event, a farmers market in the front featuring apples, all kinds of varieties: Fiji, Granny Smith, Delicious, etc at prices lower than the grocery store. They have an outdoor grill and have meats cooking like Italian sausage, hot links, burgers and more. I think the prices are on the steep side, $13 for an Italian sausage...but you be the judge.
Further in, they have sweets like premade frozen pies, applesauce, and fudge. There is a bar for the 21 and over drinker. They feature hard apple cider, along with other apple beers and wines. The lines may be long but they move very fast as there are a lot of registers open and moving customers along.
Across the street there is a children's train ride and a marvelous view of the Christmas trees further out.
Bathrooms are decent. Handicap acceptable. There were 3 or 4 stalls plus a few sinks.
Parking is free and spacious. Handicap parking is available.

Apple Hill and specifically High Hill Ranch is a must stop when we come up to Sacramento. I definitely recommend to go during the week. I've been on the weekend and this was my first time going during the week and what a difference. During the week there's no wait times for food or cider and most vendors are open, so you get to take your time looking around. We love this place and will always come and visit during our trips up North.

We make it a point to goto Apple Hill every year around fall for Apple picking and the Pumpkin patch. The place is really nice for adults and kids alike and has developed a lot since we started going in 2016. The Pond, Hay ride to Pumpkin Patch, The stalls all make it a nice place to visit. Try the cider shake and Apple cake when you visit and you won’t regret it.

I've grown up in Camino and am still impressed by High Hill ranch and all that it has to offer for all ages. I always enjoy looking at what he vendors have to offer. Our family's favorite are the maple apple donuts and apple fritters which we go grab every time company is coming over

Always bring our toddler to burn some energy off here when in Apple Hill. Pony Ride, Fishing Pond, Face Painting, Tractor Ride....always have a fun and memorable time. And cider at a reasonable price point compared to other farms.

Our family makes the drive to Apple Hill every October for the fresh pies, pastries, great lunches and craft vendors that can be found at many of the locations. Bringing home the fresh Cider and treats is the highlight of the experience.

The food is absolutely amazing, staff is friendly, make a day out of it you won’t regret it!

Also nothing there is overpriced, they’re not into gouging people with crazy prices.

Something there for everyone in the family!

Great place to take the kids, have some fun and get some good food. Pies are all delicious. Donuts are great and they have a great selection of other foods. Make sure to visit the store for apples, salsa, wine and much more!

There is a pond in which you can pay to fish from. Candle making and face painting activities. Also lots of people selling cool stuff they made themselves.

We come here at least once a year and plan on doing so for many years to come.

Always exciting each year. Fruit was priced great and bought beautiful giant peaches only 99cents a pound. I'm in heaven. Pies all freshly baked delicious.
