During our venue search, we came across several beautiful options that seemed like they would fit our needs and interests well. This especially included the Oak Barn at Loyalty, with its gorgeous Amish-built barn, its lovely patio and outdoor bar, and its breathtaking view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. But the Oak Barn has something unique that sets it far above any other venue, and that’s Barb and Ernie. Barb and Ernie are so much more than just the venue owners in that they care sincerely about each couple that is lucky enough to be married at Oak Barn, and go to great lengths to ensure the day is perfect. They set high standards for their vendors, they pay incredible attention to detail, and, most importantly, they make you feel like a part of their family. Choosing to get married at Oak Barn was the first and best decision we made during our planning process, and we couldn’t have had a more perfect wedding day thanks to Barb and Ernie!

We couldn’t have asked for a more stunning venue than The Oak Barn at Loyalty for our wedding! From the moment we arrived, our guests were raving about how beautiful the space was. The natural scenery, especially the breathtaking backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains during our ceremony, made the day feel magical and picture-perfect. It was truly the venue of our dreams.

It was incredibly convenient that The Oak Barn at Loyalty offers two separate spaces for the bridesmaids and groomsmen to get ready. This arrangement made the day run smoothly and significantly reduced stress for everyone involved!

When the weather took a turn and our cocktail hour had to be moved indoors, Ernie and Barb executed the rain plan flawlessly. We were so impressed by how smoothly everything transitioned. Not a single detail was missed, and the flow of the evening remained seamless. We felt completely at ease knowing they had everything under control, which allowed us to focus on enjoying our big day. The Oak Barn at Loyalty provides the best rain plan we’ve seen. It is well planned, spacious, and still provides incredible views of the outdoors.

Ernie and Barb are truly exceptional. From the planning stages to the day of the wedding, and even after, they went above and beyond to accommodate every request we had and they truly treat every couple like family. Their warmth and professionalism made the experience so enjoyable, and they even doubled as spectacular wedding guests themselves! We couldn’t recommend The Oak Barn at Loyalty more – it’s the perfect venue, run by the most wonderful people. Our wedding day exceeded all of our expectations. Thank you so much, Ernie & Barb!

Not only is the Oak Barn at Loyalty and incredibly beautiful venue, it is owned by a lovely couple, Ernie and Barb, who could not have been more helpful! They are careful to vet and offer a list of top notch vendors and know what works and doesn’t work in their spacious and charming barn. It all wrapped up into a storybook wedding for our daughter and her husband and we could not be happier with the whole experience!

Our wedding day at the Oak Barn was truly unforgettable, and we owe much of that to Barb and Ernie. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, even when the weather was unpredictable. Right before our outdoor ceremony, it started to rain. Barb and Ernie calmly approached us with a backup plan that allowed us to still have the outdoor ceremony we had dreamed of. Their kindness, professionalism, and dedication to making our day exactly what we envisioned is something we will never forget. We are so grateful to the Oak Barn team for helping make our wedding day magical.

We had the most perfect wedding day at the Oak Barn thanks to Barb & Ernie’s excellent attention to detail and the love they pour into their property and each wedding day. Barb and Ernie immediately treated us like family and worked tirelessly to make sure we had the wedding day of our dreams. We cannot imagine getting married at any other venue!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Oak Barn this past June. We chose The Oak Barn, not only for its picturesque landscape and beautiful barn but they also had a great rain plan in case of bad weather (luckily, we had perfect weather the day of the wedding but it was a relief knowing the rain plan would have been great). The owners, Barb and Ernie, were so wonderful to work with. They are really lovely people and you can tell they do this because they love it. They were there the day of the wedding and made sure that everything was perfect. We knew we were in good hands. From the bridal suite, to the grooms lounge, to the grounds, and the barn...it was all perfect. Our guests loved the venue and told us how beautiful the barn and venue was. I am so so happy we chose The Oak Barn for our wedding!

This venue is GORGEOUS! I got so many compliments from my guest about the beautiful barn and amazing views! Also, the owners Barb & Ernie are amazing to work with. They are so kind and made us feel like family. They had great suggestions and provided such good vendors to use. Anyone looking for a beautiful barn with amazing views, this is the place to go! I would pick this venue 100x over and recommend this venue to any newlyweds who want the Barn vibe. I’m truly sad my wedding is over, I will need to find another excuse to visit Barb, Ernie and their beautiful barn!

We had our Aug 2024 wedding at the Oak Barn at Loyalty. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We knew from our first meeting with the owners that we wanted to have our wedding there. They are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely care about your big day. The location is so beautiful, all of the guests loved it and we were grateful to have witnessed a beautiful sunset during the reception. There is a nice getting ready area- separate locations for the groomsmen and bridesmaids, too. I’d 100% recommend this location!

My husband and I had our wedding here in July 2024 and could not have pictured a better day with all of our loved ones! We were looking for a “one stop shop” for our venue to include the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one location. The indoor-outdoor feel at The Oak Barn gives guests an incredible experience, whether they are looking to dance inside the amazing temperature-controlled barn, grabbing a drink outside on the patio, or relaxing on the outdoor furniture by the outdoor fireplace and playing cornhole. Not only is The Oak Barn a stunning venue for your wedding, but the owners, Barb and Ernie, make you feel like part of the family. They have a wonderful, preferred list of experienced vendors that makes the wedding planning experience seamless. We would 10 out of 10 recommend The Oak Barn for your wedding!

I couldn’t possibly describe my June 15th wedding at The Oak Barn at Loyalty as anything less than perfect! From the moment my husband and I toured the venue we fell in love with it. The location is private, but still close enough to nearby hotels and activities. The barn is beautifully rustic, but not worn down since it’s relatively new. The view of the Blue Ridge mountains made for the perfect backdrop for our outdoor ceremony and the tall grass off to the side made for the most stunning sunset photos. The bridal and grooms suite were the perfect areas to get ready in before the ceremony since they aren’t connected, so each group gets their own private space. Not to mention how helpful and awesome Barb and Ernie were to work with. You can tell they truly love what they do and treat every couple as if they were their own kids. I also loved that they provide you with a preferred vendor list because it makes choosing your vendors so much easier, especially when planning an out of town wedding like we did. I can’t thank Barb and Ernie enough for helping us have the wedding of our dreams at Oak Barn!

I have worked at The Oak Barn at Loyalty a few times now and have always had a great experience here! The views and spaces here are absolutely gorgeous! The Oak Barn at Loyalty was a wonderful venue!! The owners Barb and Ernie are wonderful to work with - always so professional, caring, and thinking ahead! They have such a beautiful space too, not just for the ceremony and reception, but for the brides/grooms’ suites too. We couldn’t recommend them more highly!

We were looking for a venue for our son's wedding proposal and we were concerned about inclement weather and wanted a venue that he could propose inside in case it rained. I came across The Oak Barn and fell in love with the pictures on the website. I reached out to the venue and spoke with Barb. She and Ernie agreed to let us use their venue. To say we were blown away by the whole experience is an understatement! From the very beginning meeting Ernie and Barb to the day of the proposal, they were just as invested as we were in helping make the proposal very special. The proposal took place inside the barn due to rain, and it was amazing! The indoor decor is just as wonderful as the outdoor decor! I would recommend Ernie and Barb and this beautiful venue to anyone who would listen! If looking for an amazing experience do not hesitate to reach out and book!!

t is exactly one month since our daughter's wedding at the Oak Barn at Loyalty, and we are still on cloud nine! It was the first and best decision we made in planning the wedding. The beautiful mountain views and scenic property create magic for the wedding photos. "Stunning" is the word our guests used repeatedly. We were fortunate to have great weather and could really partake in all the amenities the Oak Barn offers. The lovely patio with twinkling strings lights can be used all day and evening. The covered patio area with the fireplace provided a respite for those looking for a quiet moment as did the upstairs balcony. And corn hole allowed some friendly competition! But the Barn itself is truly the show stopper. Even if it had rained, I wouldn't have worried because the inside space is easily convertible between ceremony and reception. A large wooden bar was added upstairs this year, and it was one of our guests favorite things. But the absolute best thing about booking with Oak Barn is Barb and Ernie. They are THE BEST! They truly want you to have the wedding of your dreams and they will do whatever they can to ensure you do. They know their venue inside and out and can offer suggestions on any topic. Their standards and expectations for vendors are high but the mutual respect we saw between both groups was clear. On the biggest day of your life, you couldn't be in better hands! And you leave the experience feeling like you have a second family. As a mom, this meant a great deal to me.

Book this venue, right now, you will not regret it! Barb and Ernie, the owners, are simply the best. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, and the owners being so genuine, nice, and accommodating is just an added bonus. Even with intermittent showers on my wedding day, I couldn’t have asked for a better day, because of all they did before and during to make everything go smoothly. Barb and Ernie went above and beyond to make sure everything was absolutely perfect. The beauty of the venue speaks for itself, and our wedding day was simply like a fairytale because of the owners. Also, we booked a few of their recommended vendors and loved them all. Thank you just isn’t enough!

The Oak Barn was the first venue we visited and we fell so in love with it we couldn’t believe it. After visiting a few others in the area we knew it was perfect. It is tucked away in a beautiful private yard overlooking the blue ridge mountains, with nothing but pastures and cows in any direction. Even the drive up is magical. The owners Ernie and Barb were wonderful through the whole planning process and are so willing to help cater to what you are hoping for for the big day. The were so helpful at every stage and planning with them felt like we were planning with family. The whole venue and process felt so intimate and how a wedding should be. The wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect or at a more beautiful location!

Barb and Ernie are the perfect hosts for your perfect wedding. Their compassion and experience guarantee that your event will be run smoothly, and their presence on site does wonders for peace of mind. The facility was designed and built for weddings, the grounds are beautiful, and the views are magnificent. Highly recommended.

My husband and I were so lucky to find The Oak Barn at Loyalty last winter and be married there this past weekend. Not only is the venue absolutely breathtaking, but we absolutely adore the owners, Barb and Ernie. Throughout our engagement communication was exceptional, and we were encouraged to visit the venue whenever we’d like to walk around or say hi. In addition to the beautiful two story barn looking like a fairytale, the bridal suite was also gorgeous, and set up as the perfect place for hair and makeup, as well as some getting ready photos. The groom’s suite was also cozy and filled with beer-which was also a huge hit. We love our venue and the owners so much, we plan on visiting at our 6 month and yearly anniversaries. We’re so glad we found The Oak Barn, it will forever be one of our favorite places!

The Oak Barn is THE BEST venue to get married at, by far. The owners, Barb and Ernie, will always have their couples best interests in mind and will take extra steps to make sure everything goes to (the best) plan. The venue itself is incredible, and the ceremony backdrop is the best in the area. The best thing about the Oak Barn is that once you get married there, you become family not only with your significant other, but also with Barb and Ernie.
