I had injured my lft knee in a skiing accident. Dr.Vance performed arthroscopic trimming of the damaged meniscus, but preserved enough of the meniscus to maintain its original function. The post op course was painless, and with physical therapy, rapid as if nothing had happened. Dr. Vance was very thoughtful in his assessment, review of the MR, and discussion of the options and projected outcomes. It made the decision for surgery an easy one, with a confidence that I could expect a good outcome and further skiing.

Both my husband and I are patients of Doctor Vance and couldn't be happier. Doctor Vance is very professional, proficient in his skill, and is a great listener. He gives you all the time you need to ask questions and express feelings. I highly recommend him. His staff is topnotch, as well.

Dr Vance is the best orthopedic that I’ve been too. Great personality, they call that bedside manner, personable and straight shooter. They don’t make docs like him anymore! His office staff also great. I would highly recommend.

Dr Vance replaced my right knee in January this year and I couldn't be happier. I had a spinal which lasted till the next day and I could walk as soon as I came out of recovery. Taylor Vance is the best.

A wonderful surgeon. If you are lucky enough to get in to see him - It is worth going to Marshall hospital if needed. He also has a surgery center next to his office. Plus he is attractive, well mannered and personable. His surgery skills top notch. The office staff the best around.

Terrible Experience. Would not trust this Doctor. Didnt even care if my husband had the standard Pre-Op testing such as EKG and bloodwork. We realized he also did not have the skill level we were looking for in upper extermity surgery to go through with a surgery with him when he said he couldnt do it arthroscopically but said it would have to be an open shoulder surgery. No , and with no pre op testing, a recipe for disaster and even death.
