Wawasee Area Conservancy

This is a beautiful wetland preservation area. My dad loved to go here with my mother to watch wildlife & birds. We scattered some of his ashes here at the memorial garden today.

Morning bike ride , walk, or jog the best way to see the natural beauty here. Well done with plenty of benches. Kept up and clean.

I went for the Mudtastic event. Great event in a beautiful area. It was my 1st visit, but I will definitely be going back.

Great place to walk or bike, amazing programs for young kids.
We also laid my Grandfather’s ashes to rest at the Memorial Garden.
Thankful for this place, the memories and the conservation of this great place.

This is a treasure for Kosciusko County. The trails are always open at no charge. The staff and volunteers do an excellent job of programming. For the geocacher, the area is crammed with caches of all sorts. Photos are from the annual Falltastic Trail Walk.

Beautiful views, great wide paths, festive fall decorations. I can't wait to go back.

Great conservancy area to keep the lake healthy

I love going there on Sunday afternoon it's really peaceful you can hear the birds singing their little song lovely place to walk your 🐶

Passing the sign multiple times, an August Sunday morning finally found myself here. I thought that it was just conservation land for the most part as I was not expecting being able to traverse the grounds.I was happy to be walking next lake Wawasee.

We went to the summer events they had this last summer. They were so much fun And very educatuonal. The kids are excited to see what we can do this year

Everything is in full bloom right now and the combinations of Flora and Fauna are gorgeous!
